~When Idiots Attack~


Earlier today as i was waiting idle in the camp
someone agrro'ed me and shoured "WESTSIDE!"

Naturally i watch him go and open a voice chat.
"Someone's outside, they agrro'ed me n boated
east."
And we're all at the river, going one at a time
so that we can trap him within our formation, as
he comes back on his boat and sees us. I
instantly start to sail with a single ally in my boat
and we find him about 40 seconds down the river.
He's out of his boat, possibly about to hearth as
i agro him. He immediately jumps into his boat
and the chase begins. I named him Westside.

Soon he asks for a 1v1, i expect his stats to be
far higher than my own,but i volunteer by reflex.
As we step onto land, i find my prediction is correct.
He produces a sword and shield, then begins to
fight. i toy with him for a while after discovering his
UA is probably around 50, which leaves room for at
most about 160 MC. He asks if we can do only KOing
after our first little face off. I say sure, and then
continue fighting. My UA is 80, so i have to break
off between encounters until finally i align my last
combo and say a hail mary as i charge towards his
blade, ql 15 leather gear strapped tight and a roar
booming from my throat. My defence reaches 15, his
defence reaches 0, and he flexes for the last bit of
attack he needs. His offense is at 40 and i wind up
my entire body into the blow, a crack like thunder as
he goes down, and blood flowing from my side as well.

He hits me for 98 through my 20 defence with his own
40 offence, and i hit him for about 125 with my knock
his teeth out.

His body lays at my feet and i don't hesitate
"Kill him" I say on the mic.
Shortly they appear from off screen and one of them
protests weakly as the stab goes off, cutting down the
fighter that showed his fear for death all too clearly.

I know he could fight well. Just not well enough...

Its clearly not your stats that allow you to kill people with such ease.

Its'... more adapting to situations and knowing
how to deal with them and creating your own
solutions that offer the most advantage to you
and the most pain or stress to your opponent...

There are tricks you can use to trip your opponent
up if they don't expect you to do anything other
than jump/flex punch... and they are easily
countered if you know what is going on.... there
are thousands of strategies you could use, and
its' all about understanding the basics, then
applying them. It's taking risks and being creative
that can separate you from the rest... not some
silly little tricks or bugs... it's being able to create
strategies and tricks that can crush opponents no
matter what their skill level is.

Create strategies, then counter them and figure
out how to get past the counter and continue, keep
thinking and learning as you fight. teach them what
you're doing and be open to losing
