I've been thinking about some comments made earlier...this stuff about how people didn't know me as well as they thought they did etc...

People seem to be losing sight of the fact that we are all game testers here. This game is not a finished product. If you fail to try every aspect of the game, how will you discover it's flaws. This is not a matter of right and wrong, it's simply my own path of game discovery. I strongly feel that not every bug has been discovered. If I simply cower behind walls as I did in w5, I learn nothing new. In w5 I was mostly a farmer and crafter. I have decided to be more aggressive in w6. In w7 I may try something else. So don't whine about being killed or raided, or complain about others getting the same. Simply smile and move on. There is no need to get too into the inter village politics, or the trolling. For me it's just about the game play... I'm not too big on killing noobs. However I do it on occasion, when I feel that they may pose a future threat to village resources etc. there have been several that I KO and take their bunny slippers. There are also a few that I am helping along to learn the game...

But at the end of the day, we are all one keystroke away from deletion. So don't get tho attached to your toon...

I for one, really enjoy the community as a whole. It's a great game, and in general a good group of people. So I would encourage anyone, try something new.

I've taken up a similar philosophy recently, you think you don't do anything new as a farmer or crafter? try mining, it's soul destroying, so i ran from my shackles and settled in the woods alone, choosing carefully which noobs to eliminate and which to nurture into decent, long term players, and I've never had so much fun in haven and hearth

Nobody is whining here for being killed or raided, we just make fun of you for making such a pointless thread triying to imitate your co-villagers, when clearly you just raided an abandoned place without any worth loot.

he gave me a LC full of decent curios in W5 for making a crappy trailer :3

I would have liked to live with him and we did entertain the idea, but it never happened unfortunately

that is where you misunderstood, sb. (and so did ramones too, it seems.)
im not surprised that you chose to go agressive.
like, aracos said, i was surprised that you would be the type to make a thread like this, "let me hear you cry noob".
and you still say, "dont whine about being killed or raided"? lol
read back what you said on your first post. so much for larping here, sb.
if you actually wanted people to simply smile and move on, why did you make this thread? 8-)

My simple comment about whining is simply just saying that I see it as something that almost always happens if anything gets broken or stolen...

My opinion of this raid (if you can really call it that) is that it was more fun than building a bunches of cupboards. of course this place had little to no activity prior to the break in. With the crucibles etc, it was still a valid target that most anyone would have gone after in search of even low q steel. while the loot was not what I was hoping for, it was a good way to pass some time...

This was in no way a matter of imitating others. it was more of a "hey there's an easy target...I'm bored...I guess I'll go ahead and try ramming something". and there are other more challenging targets in the area. However, I consider myself a bit more of a scavenger and thief than a "raider". I enjoy looting more than fighting anyway...

for Hazzor... I haven't yet explored the mining aspect any more than needed. it is a rough path to follow, with cave ins and the huge food and material requirements, it's a big task to follow well, and my irl work schedule will simply not allow for this particular task...I have worked it a bit...but it's really not my preference...especially in the deeper levels, with trolls thrown into the mix...lol

EDIT : Myself and many others occasionally enjoy the whining that people do in some threads...it's often fun to read ;)

so, you just wanted to experience saying, "dont whine and move on, noob" as a proper game tester?

but the truth is, there are not too many of those who actually come up and make posts when raided =P havent your friends taught you that yet? most just shut up, quit or move on and whine on other threads crying for "wipe", "w7", or "private server" and "pvp-off plz"

Nobody is here for testing anymore. Nobody is here to review any testing either.

Are you telling me that no bugs have been found and fixed recently through trial, error, and exploration of the game's mechanics? W5 seems to fit that bill.

I think the crashes actually revealed some bugs, gotta give you that.

The majority of gameplay testing ha sbeen done already though and most exploits and bugs still are and still will be in game for a while.

On a related note, please get rid of the signature. This way I don't have to write a warning etc.
