I belive i have been rather level headed when dealin with strangers. I have not had to kill anybody in this world, as most times peeps find me i'm either on a boat in full gear or in my base. 90% of all my interactions with players from W2 till now have been descent to good. there was a couple of times in W3 i had to kill some peeps, but that, again was either personal defence or village/rescource defence. My MO is to talk to said stranger and see where it goes from there. The times i like best is when they just get done killing a boar or bear and i say i have 200 survival do ya want me to skin/butcher/pick bones? most times they say no and hearth, on the few times they said ya, they get all thier stuff back and i usually end up havin an aquaintance in the area.

Unfourtantly for you Kiko, you have joined H&H in a rather "dark" time in my oppinion. First off, with the current LP system, Everybody and thier brother has like 5+ combat/grief alts(which kinda negates the whole perma death thing). Secondly the politics of W6 have been "tainted" with damn near every large faction using bugs/exploits and what not. not too mention a Hell of a lot of your coward ass griefers(the ones who don't want a fair fight or rather an honorable fight) are soaking up these exploits and whatnot to achieve griefing to a whole new level.

But we all are hopeing(well most of us are) that when/if W7 comes out the majority of the glaring exploits/bugs are fixed and we can have what we used to have.

but only time will tell.

This isn't WoW where everyone meets up and chitchats in Ironforge.

Some guy asked me if he could sit around my place for a bit, naturally was scared, but he looked like he was running from something, I talked a bit, but naturally no one can be trusted in this game andd..

Two more guys came and decided to troll the hell out of me, they thundered each other acting as if they were enemies or random hostiles, but then eventually both turned on me.

Sad day indeed, for my alt. So I don't think trust will become of the Hearthlands for a while yet, people kill for clothing, or just for fun, just to push someone back down the chain.

I have an odd way of going about things when meeting random people. If they're linen noobs I usually just ko/fuck with them (put on bunny slippers/dhelm etc) and if they're wearing a merch robe/steel I usually kill 90% of the time. I'm not sure why this is but I feel like once you've attained higher tier items that you're should be able to defend them, or something. Anything in between it's usually based on how they act towards me. Lately I've just been looting them and leaving them though.
