Read the OP, this isn't about killing or crime, it mainly about respect you give the person or victims.

Yes the wolves will always eat sheep and probably wont turn vegetarian any time soon but, to an extent players can still support and change their life styles to a better life style and hopefully have morals.
Wolves become domestical pets by a help of the human though. My point is that there could be some kind of neutral buro (human), which would take a role of talking to faction leaders and making them agree over things (we are too proud to make a first step really :D). Or help newbs with getting strong friends and etc. etc.

You say hi to your neighbours and they don't reply with an arrow in your chest but with a "Good morning."
Well, there is just a limit such as if you'll attack your neighbour you'll be arrested. So yeah, like I stated before and rye130 told, the game made us to behave this way (some portion of the forum community affects it as well).

But people began to have morals and these cities soon began to develop.
Morality is a tricky thing. They are based on the profit and the way how to obtain it. For instance, female virginity moral is based on the wish of the males to grow up their own children. Being friendly/kind/siding and being loyal to your group profits you in terms of the survival. Therefore, in h&h there is a different moral system based on the profit we can do there.

What I am hoping to do is help develop some good morals into Haven and Hearth that can lead to more possibilities in which players can work together to form a strong community.
Then only thing is left - act. :P

Thank you, I do know HnH is not real life but there can be an extent that it can be changed for the better. Thank you for that.

And how far does this go, against breaching free speech? Can I not say the word "Hitler" in case it upsets somebody? Can I not say "Nigger" or "Jew"? Understandable, but how far does this "Greater understanding" of other people's feelings and offendable sensibilities go? Can I not speak of grandfathers, because somebody lost theirs? The moment you try to put a shackle on what people can or can't say, you're opening a huge can of worms that will inevitably cause the system to crumble under its own pretension.

LostJustice wrote:2. Respect the dead, give them a proper headstone with formality, they were once people too as they should do for you if the same fate befall you.

Yes and No. Yes, because it's a pretty cool thing to do. No, not because I feel any connection to who they were or might have once done. For all I know, they were a raider, or a spammed alt.

LostJustice wrote:3. If you see profane or ugly things written or drawn take time to remove it, not only does it make your community and area look nice but it makes most people feel better.

What right do I have to remove something that offends me?

LostJustice wrote:4. If you see someone formally greet them and be kind and show hospitality by greeting or even giving them a friendly gift of a curious or object that you may not need.

What if they turn out to be some 6 year old faggot-ass annoying little runt who wants free everything?

LostJustice wrote:5. Do not kill someone without reason. If someone has stolen from you it is a legitimate reason but maybe sow kindness and just give them a warning as it may pay off and maybe form a relationship instead of destroying it.

Verbal Warning = they move onto someone else.
Physical Warning = they get pissy and do their best to annoy you for the next two weeks.
Kill them = they get scared and fuck off. Most of the time. Sometimes they get cute and do as expected from #2.

LostJustice wrote:6. Do not pants people it just disrespectful.

It's a life-long ambition of every successful pantser, though, so, No.

LostJustice wrote:7. If a noob is around offer to show him the game and give him respect as he is just learning. Show him what he needs and give him web resources to aid him in his adventure.

If somebody gave me free shit when I started, I wouldn't have a clue how it was made, and in the end would of made me;
1. A greater target for griefers/thieves.
2. Weaker, as I would have to spend more time backlogging on my learning curve when those items are gone.

LostJustice wrote:8. Do not ever seek revenge as it only causes more vengeance and problems.

If you don't stop someone doing something bad, then who will, under Law #8? The person will just go on, unpunished, in doing what he wants. Even moreso, if you're being bullied (in reality), ignoring the problem doesn't make it go away. You have to strike back.

LostJustice wrote:9. If you see something wrong being committed take time to find out the situation and possibly correct it without violent force.

What.

LostJustice wrote:10. Basically show respect and do good for your community and form relations, don't break them.

Respect should always be offered. If it is declined, then the person is not showing mutual respect and should be destroyed.

All in all, I'd say these "rules" are very naíve.

You didn't read the entire thing. Why do I know that? Cause I said these are moral ideas. They are not rules. Also not to be offensive but you also poorly read. Example, you said why would you give items to noobs and causes them to back track their learning. I didn't say that I said give them "web" resources. Give them information on sites like the Wiki. So do not take this as a new law book or code. Instead treat it like a bible and if you wish to follow it, go ahead and follow it. If you choose not to, that is your choice.

And just like the bible, you're attempting to spread a belief that believes your expectations and level of understanding is universal. Religion makes me sicker every day.

If that is how feel about it you do not have to follow it do you now? I never said any of that nor am I really trying to attempt that. I am just trying to make a better community.

iirc, that's what the plan of the Crusades was, too. Imma just stop now.
