Bobthecat is a good player now. At least as far as I know.
I can't find my thread about him anymore, but he helped me with a guy that was ruining my hermit life :P

Also, what has become of him? I haven't seen him online on that character anymore. Does he still play?
Hope you have a great day

Maybe, but walljumping is something that's
been redone several times. Imo a new wall
jump is new / unknown bagousing

i might be over thinkin it... or under thinkin

How the fuck do you know it is AD? There is plenty of people that aren't Dis or AD that know how to do the 'feature'. Stop jumping to conclusions, Track the fucking scents then make assumptions.

I am afraid that I will have to disagree with you here, Sabinati. Different method does matter despite that the end result is the same in terms of when exploits are fixed.

To give an example, let's say two major factions are using a walljumping against each other. Faction A is using crossroads while Faction B is using chairs. Now loftar comes in and fixes the crossroad jump. This now puts Faction A at a disadvatage against Faction B since their method of walljumping is no longer working but Faction B retains its ability to walljump Faction A.

my point was that you shouldn't be using a cliff as the only point of defense due to known and unknown flaws. the exact method of traversal is unimportant. walls, of course, have their own set of known and unknown flaws, but my main point was that cliffs are not walls and shouldn't be used as walls.

I suppose that we were not talking the same fundamentals then. Of course people that are not on par with Haven and Hearth mechanics may not know this as they see cliffs as walls, albeit very thin walls. I suppose they have to learn sooner or later, though it is a bigger problem when a bug metagame is in effect without a developer doing anything about it.
