Well to add to something even more to a thread that was recently revived. Pre mid-world 3 was even worse on eating up your time because everything was subjected to decay hit including things that were in personal claim or auth'ed village claims, even that mile long wall (things on paved claimed areas decay slow though). Imagine spending a quarter of your playing time gathering the resources and to repair your walls and buildings (I do not envy Sodom...).
