You know recently on the Salem wiki, there were some arguments going on because someone tried to put themselves in a position of power and essentially suppressed anyone being able to do anything about it, claiming it was in the better interest of the community.
You are trying to set standards for the way people behave. You can't do that in a game like this where nobody has any reason to follow you. People have issues with what you've said, because they don't agree with it.
You cannot keep dismissing what people say with the reason that they "didn't read it", because perhaps you've been too ambiguous in your writing that what we've read isn't what you intended, maybe not stressing key points but instead having them sewn in in such a way that they aren't recognized as significant.
I'm going to say this from personal experience: as much as you wish and want and push and try to make something true, there are things which you can't do alone, and I see your mistake coming from that. Instead of making compromises, you're not letting it waver from your perfect envisionment in your head. The second you can accept in your mind that nobody being perfect includes you, you can set yourself free.
