Meanwhile, all of my things were stolen. Weep.

It's okay though, I salted the earth of the thief's camp.

You sir, just gave me my new sig. ;-)

You know what's interesting about trusting strangers instead of fearing them is that they can continually surprise you.

For example, the other day I realised that there is one group of people living in Brodgar who actually have their own village inside the town. For example, they have one plot which they are using for industry related work, and several other plots for farming, mining, etc. Well, since there is only one plot per person its totally legit, while also being a way to have your cake and eat it too. They surely won't have any trouble finding people to sell goods to once they develop a bit more.

Man... DId you just quote yourself and told yourself it's good for a sig? Wow.
Edit: My apology. Went back a page, turns out it was a quote fail.

My bad. I've fixed it. That did look weird.

... O dear ...

It makes me happy to see how much Brodgar has grown.

Brodgar, a place to raise your kids.

Repost from the recruit thread.

Seems like the south east is the way to expand. Maybe if we add a few decent sized roads?

So, I created an alt to help you reach your goal of 100 hearthlings, Brodgar is impressive btw, I walked all the way around it.

The day I spawned there was not one single person around, lol, I had a good look round, read all the runestones, got a bit of experience, then started to mark out and pave a plot on the edge of the town, a short walk from the river.

My second visit, my plot had been finished and claimed, lol, along with my rabbit meat, crate and hides. I saw one guy walking away from me but he disappeared as I approached. Disheartened by my loss of food and potential bunny slippers I made a makeshift bed out of tree boughs and slept under a tree in the forest. :(

On my last journey into Brodgar I was chased by a boar being led through the streets by a guy shouting " All noobs must die!"! I saw lots of people this time but as we were all running in fear for our lives, we didn't have much time to talk. I saw one 'noob' go down and watched as a pool of blood gathered around his head, another guy stood over him, I thought he was trying to help but instead he stripped the dying fellow of his clothes and then just ran off, throwing the linen garments behind him, on the floor, as he went! I survived, shaken and stirred, and as I walked past the cemetery I decided it was safer to sleep on the outskirts of town for the time being. :)

Interesting place. :D
