Brickwall + Cows = not a vault

So putting cows or growing crops in a HV makes it not a HV? Yeah right.....

He is referring to a statement I made. Which was of course a joke.

Multiple layer village = vault?
Labyrinth defense village = vault?

Not sure about anyone else but overdoing your defenses is generally a good idea especially now you no longer need to repair them. Sodvault and Pandevaultium are pretty nice layout but it only takes one slip of attention or planning and the outer shell will be punctured and any plots that aren't brickwalled are going to be trashed.

Sodom had a much better defense than that. It was called a brickbasher and kept people from even trying to build a single ram at our walls in a year.

"fear" was the best defence.

-Was- is the keyword. Didn't really stop people in BHB. Fear is what I call a chaotic defense.

Well, we attacked BHB not the other way around. Can hardly expect them to not at least defend themselves :P

Right. But after BHB, the image of an invincible Sodom force got shattered due to actual KIAs.

I didn't really see a change in behaviour of people towards us. Maybe you are right, dunno.

Well think of this this way. Some intermediate raiders shies away from Sodom area since they are given the image that Sodom has been grinding since the stone age. In comes some late comers that massed up and actually managed to spill blood (albeit they also took some casualties as well). Intermediate raiders is not as intimidated as before.
