I would like to know who are the current LS and chief. Are you guys still actively adding people to the town? Are you worn out? Are you looking for somebody to replace you (I'm not volunteering btw).

Also, who are currently acting as rangers? Do we need to levy a tax to pay a salary for some strong player to hunt down and kill trouble makers?

Such is to be expected.
I am the chieftain and still Ls until Gilbert gets back. I am exhausted but anyone else will ruin the town even more.
I occasionally see Gunnar pop in, as well as zmurr and tkearns to do odd things.

I would visit more often, but i'm too lazy to build a xr pole, and i'm not consistent enough to be much use (as vigilance knows, most of the time i just ignore messages, SORRY...)

i think having paid "rangers" is a genuinely horrible idea (see: Salem). There must be people in brodgar with non-useless characters by now though - its been a month, right?

I wouldn't ruin the town.

You're FAR too new to understand any aspect of leadership and trust in an advanced world.

Make a mistake that Satan made and you instantly get Brodgar involved in the faction war. Give out too many XR signs and that crime rate will bounce from 20 scents a day to 200 scents a day. Lack security in oathing and you might as well not have a v-claim. Lack power and reputation, and people will try to walk over you. ;)

There is no village, this is anarchy :D
Good that life is focused on Brodgar, minor hermits and villages can focus on developing their q1000 seeds, hrhrhr

If I understand correctly, Brodgar was started, people were joining as soon as village idol was up, then Vigilance became chief or leader or whatever and at that point, rules applied? :D

Just give LS+chief to original inventor of the town and let him decide how or what, if he choose to run free village so be it. More rules = more work = more unhappy folk etc.

What "rules" has he actually imposed though? As far as i can see he just doesn't give out XR to everyone who asks, and is slightly careful not to oath hostiles there. I don't see how that is unreasonable at all. I know he's grumpy sometimes but he is actually one of the most fun guys to play with in the game.

plus, I'm pretty sure Yolan doesn't want to be in charge of stuff.
