Sure, you can say I'm exploiting the fact that there is no way for this person to catch up to me, but is it a bug? And if it's being so rampantly exploited, maybe it's a good idea to change it.

What does that have to do with anything? A game is a game no matter in which space. So, answer Potjehs question maybe?

No. Explain to me by the very definitions the difference between a game in virtual space and a football game as taken for an example by Potjeh (Talking about football as a pure sport, not as an industry here mind you. The billion dollar pro sport is obviously different to hnh. Then again look at South Korea.)

I could go further btw and present you arguments on how there is no significant difference between real and virttual life. That those two are just terms usually used in cheap excuses when justifying improper actions in virtual space. That will probably be a part of my master thesis in one form or the other, because that is an interesting topic. Well, more of a side not. If I was a sociology major it might be the actual topic, but alas I am only minoring there.

Sorry, missed you answer. Yes, it is a good idea to change it. I argued to give 100% def while moving until the devs have time to overhaul combat completely. I furthermore argued to make combat a simple comparison of stats till we have a new system. I got 500 ua, you got 400. We both hit, I win. Better than what we got now even though I am aware how simplistic and silly that is, but it would be a temporary fix to make the game playable again. To give economic power the upper hand over clicking skills in a building and crafting MMO again.

Right now this is nothing but an FPS gone 2d. This game doesn't need a good combat system (it would be nice if it had one, sure). It needs combat only for crime and punishment, not for entertainment purposes. Because then this game that had so much potential in being an economic and political simulation reverts back to some griefers sports game as it has done right now.

You are looking for a different game. End of story.

No, I am looking for HnH as Jorb and Loftar once made it. Then some asshats came along and abused it long enough so it became a different game.

Sorry, I forgot that the "asshats" reprogrammed the game to do things Jorb and Loftar didn't want.

Just stop embarassing yourself please. I wanted to have a civil conversation with Valten, something you are not capable of.

Exploits are by their very definition things that are in a game, abusable or usable, yet not intended by the developers to be used like this.

You know, I played this game I am talking about for 3 worlds and it was awesome.
