In regards to Mirror Lake being raided, I take full responsibility for it. I had a a key alt with access to our cheese factory. I had given Mike access to the key alt because he wanted to be a cheese maker. During the past few weeks AD had begun coming to our walls and shooting at us. During this time period something happened in my personal life. My father had a heart attack and was not expected to live. One night when I got home from the hospital, AD was at our walls shooting and at the time, I took law speaker and put it on my key alt at the cheese factory (in the even I was killed), not remembering Mike had the password. So all of this time my Dad has still been in the hospital and I have not been involved in the game much at all. I was told my Dad did not have much longer to live unless they did an experimental heart procedure. They wanted him to go home and rest for 10 days and then come back for the heart surgery. Yesterday at home, he had another heart attack and they called for a medical helicopter to fly him back to the hospital. Right now he has a very small chance of survival. Today when I got home I found out that Mike had used the key alt that had law speaker on it and oathed all of AD to Mirror Lake and we were raided. It was a huge mistake on my part for not remembering Mike had access to it. So therefore, I accept full responsibility. I have already lost my Mom 4 years ago and the thought of losing my Dad has almost been too much. I handed Mirror Lake to Mike basically and I didn't even realize it. He wanted to get revenge on Tyler, Asendre and others in the village, and he was successful. To the villagers of Mirror Lake, I sincerely apologize for making such a stupid mistake.

I sincerely hope that your dad pulls through. My hands and others reaches to you in hope for him.

I'm sorry to hear about what happened. ML was always full of good people who knew the value of camaraderie. We had our hick-ups but in general, very good folk in there. I had quit the game a few months back but kept up with the news on the forums hoping for more from JLo towards game development or maybe a new world / less lag. Glad to see they got the lag settled.

Anyways, Alyx - you are the best and I hope your father indeed survives and gets well and that you can devote your time towards making another wonderful community around your leadership. You can count on me if it's in a new world

I'm just bummed out that I had given you all my riches from a long time of prosperous trading PRIOR to this raid. Could have come in handy now, all the gold and stuff...but I'm sure you guys will manage if there's still friends around.

Sorry to hear this. I am still fortunate enough to have my mother but I lost my father a few years ago and although any loss is hard to deal with, personally I think the loss of a father figure, beloved or not, can be a trying experience for anyone and I hope he pulls through.

I really hope this Mike guy feels some genuine guilt after reading this, I know I would. I said it before and I will say it again, this type of situation where you betray the trust that others have put in you is most likely one of the worst actions a person could commit in this sort of game and yet it's a common occurrence. Before anyone decides to use the "it's just a game" excuse, don't. There is no excuse for betraying your moral obligations towards other human beings, especially for petty vengeance, in a game or not.

So before this you all kill him multiple times and still want him to respect you?

He killed one of us multiple times, yet we gave him chances to stop being a faggot.
The last day he started calling one of us names, swearing and offending him. When we killed him he spawned inherit and kept on doing the same and asked us to kill him again.
Eventually when he died again, he spawned YET another inherit and kept on doing the same. By this time we figured he wouldn't stop so we just killed him and let him leave on his other character.
Do you really believe this kid's qq story? If we killed and exiled him it was for a reason, don't think it was unprovoked.
