Everyone has exploited this game in some way or another, why you single us out for it is beyond me.

Joojoo I hope you have never used a tanning tub after it's been in a boat, or abused the bad AI mechanics of animals. You know when you get a deer stuck on you? It starts twitching? Hope you stepped away so it could fight you. When I bear started running away from you but comes back, I hope you let it live and boated away.

I also hope you don't use custom clients, night vision? Zooming in/zoomin out?

I hope (but imagine you don't even bother) when you swim rivers you don't open a flask before you enter the river.

I hope you fuel kilns and smelters with the correct amount of fuel, rather then wait for them to sit in the kiln, and light them at the last 5 minutes

I hope you don't use construction signs to block your mine hole

I hope you haven't ever used barter stands for discoveries.

I hope you don't pick branches and cones from tree's in the stage before it's final growth.

I hope you don't use gates to keep cows penned.

I hope you've never caught a rabbit by going "peacefull" towards it while chasing it.

I hope you never intended on making a wall of cows over a river

Ewlol wrote:You can create walls in rivers by taking MALE tamed cattle, putting them on a raft, then subsequently destroying the raft. The male animal will land on the water and stay there forever.

I hope you never took your clothes off with shift + click at the start of the game for extra LP.

I hope you have never spawned alts to scout a situation

If you have done any of these you are abusing mechanics that are not intended and you are now tainted. Sorry to break the news to you.

As I told few times in Dis&Ainran conferences... we know who we are. And simply we should not care about what people are thinking about us but what do our pride/pack people think.

I mean the initial argument is well and fine, you have to establish factual statements and disprove the other side.

but when Everybody knows that these factions Blatantly abuse game mechanics and openly and unabashedly hack/cheat in this game, why even bother?

i am not at all talking about exploits, just in case.
some people have fun attacking players in game, because they can.
i have fun attacking players on the forums, because i can.
its a part of the game.

Because you do it everyday and kill people with it. Tons of people. (That is also the answer to Valtens pseudo argument)

The case Ramones is simply hilarious. Don't bother arguing. In his head he has no connection to any bad guy whatsoever. Just because he lives with them, works for them, uses their raided materials for his production facilities, uses their protection for his safety, just because he wouldn't have anything of what he has today without them doesn't mean they are any closer to him than a random stranger passing by on a boat. You need to keep that in mind when arguing about this case.

Why we bother to keep arguing...well that is a good question. Some (Avu would say useless) pride left in me I guess that wants to save a formerly good game. Also, don't want to let all new guys fall for these people systematically ruining the game, because they need their e-power while acting like innocent, little bunnies. When everyone playing is so far up their ass you cannot even hear them anymore it probably needs outsiders to call them out for what they are. Plus I am really bored in my office right now...

As for them identifying themselves as whatever suits them best at a certain point in time. Why is anyone surprised about this? :D

Btw. dear Ainran/Dis guys have some basic lectures on organizational patterns and system theory. Doesn't work like this "Oh, now we are all individuals and you cannot blame the collective." Members of a collective always represent the entire system through their acts and a town you all live in (or used to live in to get to where you are today) is the very definition of such a collective. Not you decide wether you are a member of something, the social context (usually third parties of any kind) decides that.

I don't want to even finish reading your post or quoting, you are simply dumb for writing it after my post of explanation. (the part about me)

Why you basically say I am right in your explanation "I used their soil in the beginning". Case closed. You are also inside their walls and I am sure they would come to help you when an army with a ram was in front of your production facility. Or wouldn't they?

Ramones, your explanation wasn't convincing - I think actually you simply don't understand what we are talking about though, so I guess case closed, but i reserve the right to repeat myself later ;)

burg & tonky have said (several times) what i also think about this particular matter so much more eloquently than i possibly could, so thanks.

LadyGoo, personally I don't need anyone to explain themselves of course, nor do I mean to demand this, but I'm always interested to hear peoples thoughts + argue with them, for my own amusement I suppose :)...

I was mairly refering to the point: "works for them", "use their raided materials", "wouldn't have anything what I have today without them" which are statements far far away from anything. I don't need raided materials, I've build industry singlehandedly from scratch to xzy where it is now with materials I bought. The part of "used their soil" I already said that I barely played at that time so I used it to help village at that time. Now only me + 2-3 guys from my plot have access to everything that was made there. Bought kiln, bought smelters, cruicibles, forges.

But you are right, I've used clay nodes around to build brickwall, so I agree with all 3 of you :(

And yes, almost stranger in a boat is the case, when my plot mate lived with me for 2 months and after 2 months was aggroed by Ainran and almost died before others explained thats its one of Ainran guys. Its just...Ainran :)
