the crossroads is broken :(
i guess its for the best if BAD-EVIL had access to it but i'm sad i can't visit anymore

There is a new crossroads, and I'm sure you can apply to the LS for a new sign. ;-) (I'm not guaranteeing they will give you one).

EDIT:

It seems that replacing the crossroad and gaining a little supported from some armed people has improved town security markedly.
