also, whats the plan for W7 brodgar, if any?

Well, I simply can't devote the time or resources towards making a 'proper' town, and being a hermit sounds not so fun to me, so I'm thinking of just making a normal Brodgar again with a better location and layout.

If some people are keen we could make a spiral palisade that is later reinforced with bwall. See Gondor thread for pictures. I'm no longer in favor of a special keep filled with special q items and special players though.

Will people be satisfied with 25x25 plots? Main roads at ten tiles?

Edit:

A big thanks to all you Brodgarians. It was a lot of fun.

In 50 days this thread got over 25k views. Not bad huh? ;-)

At the start it's gonna be chaos, I don't think a lot of people will bother with Brodgar until they have their home set up in their main village.
I'll be there eventually.

i think Brodgar would be even more successful if started from the start. Everyone has completely equal chance you know.

Expect to be raided v soon. In W3 Brodgar was hit within about one week. But yeah, if we could get a few fighters to join up it might help a bit. Spiral wall may help reduce damage once we make crossroads, but steel will be a bitch without organized help.
