imo I'd say that was an exploit. I'm sure Jorbtar didn't intend for straight mine bots to spawn trolls for raids either, but the mechanics are working fully as intended. Just like the ferry rings.

Point of those qoutes is It would seem we all have mixed definitions of what a bug/exploit is.

But I guess to answer your question, I feel the ferryman is buggy because it's results vary depending on how you go about using it, and some of the results seem to be far from what I feel it was originally intended to do.

yeah, ring thing is sure a bug
but there is ethical difference between using bug/exploit/etc. to raid whole village and using it to save some asses
nothing was wasted but 30 mins of both sides time and some silver
so damage done by drowning is incomparably with destroyed villages

I could give a shit if they want to abuse that bug every time we chase them (which they do), but don't post stupid shit like "l2play legit" when they don't. If they didn't abuse that bug we'd have piles of bodies from wild west and winterfell litering our streets

agree with you about hypocrisy and gayness of such posts
well, atleast from people who use bugs, bots, exploits, elite clients, etc.
but this is just an answer to forums shitstorm
also, as i said before, i believe its kinda irony
