It is much more than that. Looks like you did not read any thread in the past months regarding how utterly broken the game is, how there have been a lot of different cases of account theft popping up over the last week or two, how HnH has been getting a bad image outside of this community. Potjehs thesis of it being better for HnHs public image to get shut down as long as it is not being developed might be questionable, but you cannot simply label it as ridiculous without bringing anything to the table yourself. If people kept on using half illegal or at the very least very questionable methods to screw around with my game I know that I myself wouldn't look at it for long before taking away the toy from those ungreatful children.

This is out of fucking control.

If/when dev's get back, world reset and closed beta please, so that focus can return to development through constructive and forthright feedback from a group of responsible players.

This just used to work when the player base was still pretty small...

Although I think there is another way to keep the HnH up and name clear apart from shutting it down. That would be releasing the server-code as GNU Public. I guess J&L are going to be locked on Salem next few years and HnH will decay anyway. I think there is still ample amount of willing and thoughtfull coders who may develop the HnH to vanilla stage and also several competing servers will defly raise the quality of all. But is just my PoV, might be different to others, especially devs one :)

You were all invited to the Salem alpha..... Also? since the topic keeps coming up, is it just me or is it a bad idea to have a majority of forum mods modding the forums of a game they don't play and that some haven't played for 3 worlds? Seems a bit silly.

Honestly, them modding it isn't terrible, it's the fact that they keep deterring people from coming to play the game with their pessimistic attitudes. No one gives a shit if you don't want to play the game or think it's broken, you don't need to broadcast that to every new player.

You know what's also bad? Having developers that haven't been giving their full fuck to the game for the past 3 worlds or so. Having said developers refusing to moderate their community is also very bad and the reasons don't really matter at this point the damage is done.

No one gives a shit if you don't want to play the game or think it's broken, you don't need to broadcast that to every new player.

And I'm sure you're everyone and can speak on behalf of all right? Or maybe you know deep down that we're right but you just can't quit and truth does hurt or simply you can't enjoy the tears of noobs if they are not so bright eyed and clueless as you want them when you raid them? well at least until the russians get to you.

I've not once denied that vaults are broken. I'm simply saying, we don't need mods posting shit like viewtopic.php?f=7&t=23987. "Game's broken. Have fun.". The game has always been broken. You know what drew your attention to it? The fact that Pande was losing world 5. What wrong? Was it not like world 3 where u could dupe / exploit seed prayer and exploit tables ur way to victory?

Raiding clueless noobs is an interesting comment too considering i haven't raided any towns yet this world that didn't have scents pointing at it. I've killed my fair share of random people, dont get me wrong, but 90% of them have scents pointing at them.
