3-4 weeks ago our village made became somewhat friendly with the emerald city folks. Der Aus, john on skype did this more then others. One night early on in this affair he noticed thash had all her personal info on her skype. He googled her name and found some pics and threw them up in a skype chat. Fast forward 3-4 weeks later deathmessenger noticed/found out that he did this. He informed the emerald city people and communication was cut off and the matter was basically settled. A week after everything is settled i log on to hear that a few people are killed and our shit is stolen.
The only thing of value that was lost is harry/val. You killed a couple noobies that we just recruited not even a week ago. The other people you killed was alts we spawned to see how many people were there and see the "righteous" raiders in action. The phat loots you took was some shit curis and random shit we had. Monocle was prolly the best item we had. I'm fairly sure all the curi was under or at q20. I really dont know of anything else there that had any value what so ever. The village right now is wrecked. The only thing i saw standing as of last night is a mansion. w/e we will either rebuild and finish the wall or move on to better things.

your version of events although may be true to your knowledge is slightly different to what we had.
I'll add our account later when i have more time to respond. though the attacks on painhertz are uncalled for when people arent really aware of the whole story, but sicne it keeps being dragged up, and we were mentioned, i'll at least add our side of events.

i shall put down the info I got, to at least support painhertz actions which everyone is attacking.
Firstly this info isnt by any means complete, its simply what i got, what i heard, what i did and what im aware of.
pretty recently through a mutual friend from a town close to emerald city we were introduced to members from bearchanicus, this was a friendlyrelationship which we hoped would turn into a trading one.
I talked to someone fromt he town, he spent quite a bit of time with my other villagers whilst online, he was a skype friend and was added to our village chat as dallane was. I assumed like many of the friendships in this game which have always been respectful and friendly that this was too, as far as im aware and please correct me if im wrong, we did nothing that was damaging or hurtful or insensitive to anyone from the town during this friendship.
I was then told by a villager that a memebr of this town who we were friends with has been digging info on us, what i was told was that it was digging info on me and the other female villager in my town. I was given a quote actually by you dallane, about why you villager was 'obsessed' with us. This information freaked me out tbh, and it freaked out my female villager. so we removed them from our village chat i personally blocked the person who we were told did this from skype. I was sent some oft he pics that they had dug on my female villager, all of which were of her under the age of 16, which were apaprently passed around their village friends. but it was left at that.
the next day i was told by this female villager that both the ls of this town and the guy who did the digging had talked to her about the incident since they had become paranoid that because someone from ainran has apaprently been tracking them, that it was somehow related to us. He questioned her as to the reason why we'd removed his villagers from our village chat as well as making out that somehow this was her fault and instead of feeling like this was all creepy and weird that she should be flattered that someone we trusted would do this. she was very upset over it and she blocked both of them so she wouldnt have to listen to that crap again.
I attempted to pm the ls ingame on one occasion where i was ignored in order to actually vent my frustration at the way they made her feel and that their views were wrong, consider it a way to vent tot he people responsible and hear what they had to say. it was also to assure them i hadnt nor would i cotnact ainran to raid them, even though i know how easy it would be to do so having seen their town.
i spoke to the guy who did the digging, and was told that he was asked to by the ls to do it to find out if my villager was legit. whatever the hell the means. consdiering she wasnt a aprt of the town i didnt see why finding out whether she was legit or not was important, or how posting her pictures across their villagers proved this. but whatever, point being it seems that the explination is that this is normal behaviour, but in all honesty, men online might not care of be freaked out by another guy digging into their personal info, but im sure as hell sure that any woman would be at the very least creeped out by it.
I was also told that this digging was literally 3 mins work, yet of the 4 pics i managed to get that were passed around 3 of them were from different places on the net so im not sure i buy that it took 3 mins or whatever.
what did worry me though, was whether in reality this was normal and that this isnt jsut plain creepy, so i told some friends of mine about it, pretty much everyone, including the guys who werent in my town who told us of this felt that it was out of line. one of those people is painhertz, who i did ask not to do anything because it wasnt worth it. but he felt it was, and the villager most effected by this was ok with him doing this. and i'm not going to question that because im not going to treat her feelings as inadequate, and nor do i buy this whole 'omg theyre such awesome people' all over this thread and certainly not the 'peaceful' quote either. sorry burg, but from talking to this said villager on more than one occasion they were by no means peaceful.
everyone can make whatever judgements they want, but peoples dislike for painhertz doesnt mean that this thread should be a bashing match on him, at the very least I know he wouldnt pull shit like the 'nice people' of this town did.
Dallane, ure probably the only one who i've not heard a single bad word about, and i hope that u continue playing, and if you need anything ingame let me know.
