how exactly free topq goods for everyone is a help to the community?
I can say the same about Ame's protectors - you dont care about the community and the market, you're just looking for a way to save more pearls in your pockets

yeah, I agree, those who joined later should have a chance to catch up, but I doubt that the main audience of this shop were fresh noobs, besides you dont need to trade at all, if you're so so so good and want to give everything to everyone, just go and do it ingame to random hearthlings

Cy I don't think your reading what's being said here, we said that its good for the players in the short run making them grow and prosper but in the long run will starve the market and essentially crash it.

Correct me if Iam wrong, but I believe "Don't sell treeplanter's equipment and should sell block and board. You are stupid" Is implying that you think she is stupid because of what she is doing. If you ment to say that what she was doing is stupid. You should have written more like : Which is stupid. or; Its stupid. or; its a stupid thing to do. (The magic is in the "it")

Kay, i will correct you - you're wrong. Why did you take part in this discussion without reading main posts here? He didn't wrote that she is stupid, let's me quote:
Do not you think that selling treeplanters equipment instead boards and tools is stupid?

I would take Pickard side too, she just got it wrong, however her prices was really breaking market.

3. Ame is lying to get attention and excuse to close her shop and didnt know everyone here knows each other (Ame's shop is closing and reopening suspiciously often)

Yeah, this theard just look like an attention seeking. Everything is clear now so lock it and send to hell.

yeah, I agree she shouldnt really sell all the high end seeds, treepots and herbalist tables cheap. But selling the rest of the stuffs cheap is cool. After all, its her call. And because she is selling a little bit below the top quality stuffs, the price is dropped a fair bit too, and she can mass produce it making more in less time, and then having more stuffs to trade, and because its cheap more people will trade. Kinda like wallmart? :P

And correct me if Iam wrong. But I believe she was selling things a fair bit lower in quality than the high end traders were doing? I believe I remember checking out her shops several times in the past. She was selling some nice stuffs, but the quality was too low, I'd rather pay more to get the higher q gear.

If you feel like this will make you get less trades, take down the price a bit on your high q stuffs down a bit. Or hope that your costumers will put the extra cash on the table for the top q stuffs. Its how its done in the real world?

im not at all ame's protector, im simply enjoying this dispute, but i can say the same about anti-ame ppl too - so, say ame stops trading whatever "high" q seeds and you all merchants in this fucking cartel get to sell "high" q stuff at the randomly fixed price. you're not just looking for a way to save more pearls in your pockets this time?

crash to what, exactly? im more curious what will happen afterward.

like how did you calculate the price and based on what first of all anyways in this game?
and who would starve to death in this game by not getting profit out of trading? are there any decent factors to convince others what price is decent?
i hope you arent calculating the cost performance based on RMT price of each pearl and your working time in game.

those who value their time playing this game do respect their own spent time and that is fine.
if you cant sell them because the price doesnt meet your expectation, then dont sell and utilize them instead for whatever its worth.
those who value it less are evil because that would ruin your profits?
and what are you planning to get after keeping all those profits and pearls in your pockets when you have all end-game items already?

what could possibly go wrong by starving the market even temporally?

nah, I'm totally okay with Ame's prices for the final products, I even wanted to buy all her food, but its impossible to catch her on :(
food prices were average though

I do not really care about profits, I'm rich enough, so I just closed my shop without any drama even though my profits were the same atm, I just dont feel comfortable, when my goods are not the cheapest
the thing, which annoys me is that some people, who can not into work, will get all the profits from someone elses work literally for free
I had the same feeling, when Dis was left with the hole in the wall and every pvp-kid, who did nothing for the whole world, was looting 400+q hemp there
idk if Ame was growing this hemp from WWW or were one of those, who looted Dis, so I cant be sure why she isnt that greedy as me, and I do understand this is totally her hemp and choice, but still I need a place to whine about my pain about that and this thread is perfect :D

oh no, grapefruit, i perfectly understand where youre coming from. im not the kind to join quality race or play to be competitive, but if i were so, i know i would never ever sell top q raw materials but keep them within my group or allies. i understand your sentiment, but hey, there is a difference between feeling the grudge and showing it directly to offend the target enough to let her quit.

however, at the end of the day, it doesnt matter if ame grew it from loots or www, or maybe from some other trader some time ago, as long as they arent scented. if players are encouraged to play the game by her trades, then she is contributing to the community, and her pricing is not anything to be blamed of. i still dont get it how people have to "worry" so much about the game market crashing when they are playing properly.

you know what this thread reminds me of? A sci fi story

Pandora's Millions summary wrote:...in which the development of a "matter duplicator" that can replicate almost any scannable object causes an economic collapse, and a return to a barter economy for the only remaining scarce resource: Skilled human labor. Chaos ensues until the inventors of the matter duplicator discover a substance that explodes when scanned by the duplicator beam. This new substance, "Identium," serves as a new medium of exchange for skilled labor, in a post-scarcity society otherwise primarily devoted to the pursuit of leisure, science, art, the occasional lawsuit, and the sale and exchange of "Certified Uniques" — objects whose chain of provenance can legally establish that they have never been scanned by a duplicator beam.
