Who stole my idol?

Well i don't usually post on the forums, but i'm fucking pissed off right now so i figured i might as well post something to get my anger out.

Anyway, after a few days of exploring and grinding curios I had finally found a decent place to set up a camp. I spent pretty much all of yesterday foraging and hunting to get enough mats for a village idol and palisade, and was waiting for the cool downs to finish today. So about an hour before the palisade is finished i'm making leather at the river near my camp, and I see someone in a necro robe and spectacles sail by. I quickly hopped in my boat, and we had a short conversation in which he asked me if I was russian and I told him I wasn't. However it was clear he didn't really want to talk and pretty soon he sailed away. I finished filling up my tanning tubs and hearthed back to my camp to see the same guy walking towards my claim. I had settled on a decent soil node, and recently someone had claimed a chunk of it right next to my claim, so I figured it might be him. I asked if it was his claim, but he didn't respond and instead proceeded to trespass on my claim and start looking through my stuff. I was a bit wary at this point because of his gear, but wasn't about to just stand there and watch while he looted my place. I aggroed him (had gotten rage the day before to deal with some thieves) and started thundering from behind some tanning tubs. To my surprise he booked it back to his boat instead of trying to fight. I grabbed a trespassing scent and saw that he had logged off, and figured i might as well track it because there wasn't much else to do.

After about 20 minutes I see a big village on my mini map. I dropped my boat and went in to investigate. Pretty soon i came to a brickwall, but before i got close enough to the idol to see what it was called, i saw a guy with a bear cape and sword, and decide to hearth before he could aggro.

I arrive at my hearth fire to see four guys with necro robes and bear capes/gauze standing around it. At least one of them must have had vandalism because my HF was damaged. One of them got in a punch for about 40% of my bar, but because I had built my HF outside the door to my house I managed to get inside. Realizing that they didn't have any summonable scents, I grabbed my valuables and logged off. I then logged onto my lumberjack alt to see what was going on. Someone with a militia sword aggroed me, and I asked who they were and why they were attacking me. They told me they were pande, before proceeding to murder the alt. I gave them some time to loot my house and leave threatening rune stones or whatever else raiders do and then logged back in to see what was left. It turned out in the time I had been gone my palisade cornerpost had set, and they had built it around my inactive idol.

Now I know most raiders go around claiming to be pande or ainran or whatever other powerful faction, and normally I would write it off as bullshit, but judging by the size of their village and their brick wall i'm inclined to believe these guys. Have the reminants of pande become raiders and criminals, or is this some big russian faction? And wtf am I supposed to do about this palisade?

What? I'm sorry, but I really can't imagine people from ainran having the patience to pave all that stone... I mean that village was pretty big.

It would make sense that it was ainran or another faction acting like ainran. They are going around harassing pretty much everyone possible.

There is NO Pandemonium this world, FACT. Anyone claiming to be "Pande" is 100% not a Pandemonian and probly a raider trying to use the name.
