trapped like a rat

Postby Rissy » Fri Nov 18, 2011 2:53 am

i ended up moving becuz i had gotten raided and the person i was playing with got killed. So i ran south, kept going south tell i found a forest that didnt have a river around for miles.
We Had no problems at first. we settled down and built a house and a small fence. about 3 days being settled down some Raider comes by and starts stealing stuff out of our cupboards, we had a palisade post about to be ready in 4 hours so we desided to stay built the fence. i didnt have enough LP to beable to claim the gate... so i desided it would be fine tell my web was done. i get on and someone had claimed my gate, put runestones outside of my gate and there claim stake.
We dont have theft, We are still fairly new to world 6.
Any advise or any help anyone can give me please? :)

Move, someone obviously doesn't want you there. And next time don't make palisades without having previously claimed the place for them.

^ You are obviously mildly retarded. The name is "trapped like a rat" and there is a claim OVER their door with stones outside it. Meaning they can't get out cause they don't have the skills to move the stones. Maybe they could move if they we not trapped. :o If you don't have the LP to claim your whole lot then there is not a lot you can do. Even if they had claimed the door, the same dbag that did this prob would have just put a claim up and took all their land he could. Like their living area. Then what good would having the door to the palisade claimed if they can't even get in the house inside it.

It's just a dbag being a dbag for the sake of being a dbag. They don't have a thing worth the time it took to do this. Cause it looks like who is doing it is building a ram. Grats on getting nothing? With any luck the dude that did this will get murdered. I'd put all the points I could into claiming more land and then log off for good. If it is the land they want I'd make em work like a mofo to get it.

Oh yes, and your four poorly organized posts give you the needed experience and wisdom to judge such a situation.

It's simple, don't build something you can't claim right away. If you do not follow this rule you're gambling. It's just like borrowing money without the certainty of when the collector may fuck you over by coming before payday.

Retarded? And I don't see why they can't break their own hearth fires and wilderness spawn. If they have enough skills for getting leather they most likely have the 20 strength they need to break hearth fires.
EDIT: also barbarism/civilization sliders can help if they don't have enough strength.

You only need trespass to move the runestones to the side. However you really want to have a village idol soon since with that claim there he can make things worse for you there. At the very least, have an internal personal claims so he cannot simply extend his claim over your land.

spawn alts at your HF

Leave village (if you are in one and the idol is where you are trapped)

put as much useful stuff as you can fit in your inventory

destroy your own HF

log out

have alts put boats and other shit where you logged out at

Try to log back in. You will have to wilderness spawn.

pros:
no longer trapped
not dead

Cons:
you and your friends are all separated
terrorists win
