Well... You were both right, we tried to exploit, and cheat our way to a swift victory over Dis, but unfortunately, we were raped to the moon.
Our first encounter, a friend informed us his friend was being palibashed, so we gathered the few of us online and started making our way over. We were informed of 5, and had 3 with Nao coming a little late behind us. We knew it would be a tough fight, so we decided to employ some relatively unknown exploits, "coordination", and "skill".. the results were terrible.......
I was first at the palisade, coming from the south side, agro'd 3 people outside and started stacking coins. I noted the palibasher was making a run for it through the hole (on the north), so I chased after but was intercepted by the fighter. Not wanting to get hit moving, I let JC run past me after the palibasher while I fought. Unfortunately, we were to slow and JC was forced to turn around and jump on my warrior as well. I was taking negligble (0) damage from the 3rd person, wielding a bow so I just kept stalling while JC got his coins and Eric came in to start fighting as well. Quickly the fighter was overwhelmed and he ran back into the town. SOMEHOW, in all this mess, the palibasher, or another one (maybe 2?) showed up at the idol.... He slipped away into a second house with the archer behind him. Contemplation at hand, we decided to barrel into the house after the basher....
Nao had shown up around this time, and was running off with the warrior character (I was occupied with the basher and archer at the time, so don't know how it all went down).... I assume Nao handled himself reasonably because the fighter ended up running, after our kills, we started heading in there direction and intercepted. Said warrior attempted to drown himself but was wearing a silver for the ferry man.
Despite our best exploiting of "coordination" and "skill" we only managed to kill everyone we seen and lewt 4 thanes. Guess we got raped?
Today, with moral on all time low, we decided to vent on a village of russian noobies. Admist the slaughter we were informed this village was requesting help in a jabber conference, The Pride Moved out to try venting on other less connected noobs. In our attempt to flee the Dis opressors we accidently tracked scents to people with hearthfires in the direction of Dis, but online in the direction of the village we just attacked. In our confusion we managed to kill one. Un sure if it was Dis, we went to make sure, thus far in the world, we had avoided conflict with them for the very reason Avu pointed out. Oh to our dismay when it turned out to be them
As per the tradition, we spent some time fighting through a wall with Bell and others untill I made my way down with a ranger bow.
Upon my arrival, I used some underhanded exploits "full martial", and "full death", the results much like using "coordination", and "skill" were questionable.
After amount of shots missing out of rendering distance I got frustrated and walked up to the wall, to my surprise, no one was to worried. I shot Bell for 80, then switched aim to Unknown.
Uh oh.. that was my last arrow, in a panic we scattered looking for a bone and branch.... what luck! we found one under neath a fox someone had shot earlier, I picked up and took aim... in the last moments he stood up and started running..
Fun as always Dis, unfortunate we never really intended to kill any of these people until we finally came up to the wall, just happened
