by smt923 » Fri Dec 23, 2011 3:14 pm They where dressed in merchants robes, bear capes, travelers sacks and glasses when they asked us to let them in to inspect the place, admittedly we shouldn't have let them in, but we have only been on for 3-4 weeks, they looked like they could fire an arrow into us both and instantly kill us, or just call more friends along to break down our pali...
So we let them in, they look around for a bit, they go into our timber house, I follow my friend in shortly after to see one of the "rangers" standing on our cellar, with my friend and the other "ranger" down in the cellar, at this point he says to me that he's being attacked and there's nothing I can do but log out. This was late at night so I go to bed.
When I wake up it appears the rangers have destroyed and stolen as much as they can, while also killing my friend in the process, I figured they'd have high enough stealth and intelligence to cover up their scents, but I turn on tracking JUST to see.

Just so you smaller hamlets and hermits are aware, they're posing as rangers and just killing you, and also if there's a REAL ranger who would be interesting in taking the scents are tracking them down (bearing in mind we hadn't stolen anything or done anything wrong to warrant a murder) then just post and I'll PM you where we are and stuff.
