Fail Attack?

Well, there is no screenshot's or anything, so bare with me, but here is the short story. I am going out foraging, I see another person in the boat rowing away (I just left my palisade). I start chasing him and try to make conversation, when he doesn't talk I call down thunder and immediately go peaceful, he then doesn't de-aggro me and I start going another way. Eventually the distance between us is enough to de-aggro us, then out of nowhere I'm aggro'd. It was the same guy as before, I assume coming for vengeance. So, I pull out my bow and quiver, and start aiming, he's too far away and moving to much for my aim bar to move, so I just wait. After some juking and stuff in our boats, his friend comes. Outnumbered I start just going on the defensive trying to not get trapped in the middle of the lake we were in at the time. Since I'm so close to my palisade, I hurry and boat to it, sprinting on my grassland and get in my palisade, and am safe. I have bronze armor and all they have is one sling so I assume it's safe to stand outside and aim at them. They shoot me maybe 4-5times and do no damage at all to my armor, well I shot them twice and probably did loads to their armor. I admit, I was scared, but in the end, I got the better side of the deal. Just thought I'd tell my story.

It is your fault entirely. You should be happy you're alive. You never, ever, ever aggro somebody when you are trying to make conversation.

Most would've killed you there and then for simply aggroing them.

By the way, this doesn't belong in ICA.

Irritating? Eh, if he didn't want to talk, he didn't want to talk. Some prefer silence over death. How could he know whether you were a viable enemy or friend? He didn't, yet you fell to aggroing him rather than to just moving along.

No, it's true. I didn't experience it firsthand but we live in the same area and he was requesting backup. He's fine, thankfully, but it did happen. Just saying.
