Weekend Holiday Retreat for DIS!

I'm not sure if this is a joke or a threat, or even from you guys but lets take it as meant for the purpose of this thread/contact.

For the benefit of others: I logged on today to find a rune on the heath outside my village saying 'Fututre weekend retreat for DIS'

I am a big village because i've invested a lot of hrs and hard work but i am not a threat in anyway. I'm a farming village, if u read my posts you'll see you'll most likely be quite disappointed with your 'loot'

I'm a peaceful village and have built up good relationships with my neighbours - even the one i was considering killing, lol - We all help each other out and there is virtually no crime or violence, bar a couple of incidents over theft. I have all nationalities around me, russian, polish, canadian, american and me, british, and we all get along very nicely.
Whilst, of course, i understand there is more to the game than a peaceful farming existance ( i got killed and raided and pali-bashed in W5 ) this is the most i've achieved on HnH and i'm obviously loathe to lose what little i have managed to build up.

I propose that if your intention was indeed a raid you either put it on hold - in both our interests, or, forget it altogether as i'm building up a nice community here and am causing no trouble to no-one, not to mention i'm a really nice person.

If, however u would rather pop round for a social i make a nice cup of tea and what i lack in combat skills i make up for with my cooking.

lol, I'm a hermit, or was, i recently took on another hearthling on a trial basis but they are a new char.

Your Community sounds nice. I was near one like that once. And then the guy in purple pants and a bear cape came along and gave me all sorts of worthless noob goodies. I'd never been treated so nicely. His nooby friend came and I talked with him a little. And he was thinking about letting me help them. Then the Guy with purple pants came along and killed me dead.

Don't let your neighbors fool you. They're waiting for something valuable to get from you or a weakness they find in your defense. I'd have a cart ready with all the your seeds and some curios and make an alt move it far away have him set up camp and then put a claim on it until you can retreat to safety.

OR they won't kill you and your neighbores will be nice and everyone will get along.

In that case ... Nice.

If not May your god be with you, and I hope to hell you get out alive.

Thx for the advice and support, i have got an alt claim where i keep my most valuable stuff, what happened to u, happened to me in W5 so this time round i've tried to keep a low profile and only interact on my terms - which has been working nicely til i logged on to find the msg from Dis!

I was sort of hoping to appeal to their better nature and once they realised i'm not in their league they would leave me alone, fingers crossed.

They don't care if you're not in their league or whatever. But maybe it wasn't some one with Dis. It could be a neighbor trying to trick you into getting out of your land. Be careful and if you do happen to have a streak of bad luck message me and you can set up shop with me. I'm more nooby than you btw.
