Not Gluenail...

Postby screwbag » Tue Feb 14, 2012 4:41 am

I'm often surprised to see how little of our adventures gets put in the forum. Of course many of our victims are Russian, Polish, and Korean. and they don't post here too much if they have issues with the language...So I'm going to start posting more so that my fellow hearthlings have more to read on the forums...

OK..So during a looting of a nearby settlement that seemed abandoned, I noticed this place. Not a bad little spot, but with one fatal Flaw...Unsealed corner posts.

At the first settlement, a cow and a wagon was *cough* borrowed and we used the wagon to load up all the mats needed to set a ram and build the fort around it. While building, a noob logged in just on the southern edge of the claim. I gave chase when he would not respond to attempts to talk, and he eventually started running. The further he ran, the more it annoyed me. So, he died.

The ram was finished in a short while...

And we rode off after a job well done...

And waiting for ram to be set sucks...and not much happened during that time anyway, so I'll skip to the actual final Raid....

Of course this place was mostly noob stuff inside...I took some cheese, and other foods and curios...otherwise left the place farly intact...but just for good measure, the ram was re-set just for lols... Of course no other combat or kills....

Speaking only for myself, I'd say it's because it doesn't often seem to deserve a thread. I mean: after being killed due to my own stupidity (blah blah blah default client use) I was raided due to my own stupidity (hi there, palibasher!). Scents appear to lead in the general direction of Ainran, although I can't confirm this due to the fuckery of my computer hating scents, and attempts to track leave my client slowed down incredibly badly (0.1 fps, wtf?), leaving me lagging out three times before I've even got to the edge of my own SG.

I lost cheese, curios, a trough full of animal feed and most of my boats and LCs. My thanks for not taking the wrought (now vaulted) or killing the cows, and for leaving the silk threads in a crate (was that an accident?).

The end.
