Should I Track The Criminal?

Postby Fishbro001 » Mon Feb 27, 2012 6:41 pm

Hello, Heartlings, first of all i have to say that i am a noob :) i seek your guidance so i can get better here's the story:
Me and two my friends decided to play haven for our first times i was the one who was doing the foraging so i have the most LP I got yeomanry just to stop random raiding but it didn't stop, i decided - I got to take some kind of action! Learned Valor and Raging and i learned that the thief checks up on us regulary and and always takes our honey! (I was able to notice that one of our buckets were missing).
On his first raid he just screw whit us, didn't took any bones just killed all of our chickens and crushed the chicks (he left their corpses in the coop) as well as took a backpack and all of our rabbit fur. I was really mad. Now that i got ranging and saw the scents it felt like a rock just fell on my heart and all of my courage is gone. I was thinking:
-He doesn't need anything valuable for us he must be very strong.
-What if while tracking i will stumble across him and he kills me?
And basicly the only thing that i was mostly thinking:
-I don't want to die!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I am asking you my fellow heartlings. Should I track this criminal?
These are the crimes that i found as well as i my personal skills and beliefs

please tell me what i should do :)

What i am most feared of is that he decides to raid me when i am online :/ since he checks up on us regulary

While it's good to know who your enemy is and where they are from, it would be far better to put that energy and time into building your palisade. =/

Yes, do it. Tell him that you're Painhertz and will kill his whole family.

Seriously, why no palisade yet? Without one you are GIVING your stuff away.

Get your brickwall up ASAP. Even if you do learn how to fight and you kill the griefer, they can use the scent left behind when you kill him to either track you while you are online or findyour hearthfire and summon you offline and kill you. At the very least, it will make minor griefing impossible by random griefers. It won't stop battering rams soo patrol your walls daily.

Also judging your post, you have a distaste for PvP so avoid tracking them if you cannot retaliation.
