Hermit is raided for no reason.

so i log in today, and find that a bunch of my stuff is missing, and my silk production house is empty. completely looted. outside the silk hut, there is a message. "you stole from the wrong people, next time you will be dead" or something like that. i dont have much, im basically just a hermit.. but i dont even have any criminal skills. i dont believe in stealing for the sake of stealing. if i see something that is sitting out unclaimed, of course im going to grab it, but i dont trespass or anything else. i play with a couple other people who i know only through the game, and they feel the same way.

so i pick up the scents. the only ones in my claim are trespassing, but outside my claim is a box of theft scents. the theft scents and the tresspassing scents lead to different places, so i dont really understand that... but i followed the tresspassing scents to a place i have NEVER BEEN before.. a village called oldenburg. i see more scents in their claim, so i leave a message. something to the effect of "ive never even been here before, i dont even have the criminal skills (theft), and you trashed my claim." something like that.

first i would like to speak to a member of the village of oldenburg, if they are on the forums, and if they are not, then i would like to have some sort of satisfaction. my character is mostly a gatherer, and processor. its fine if they thought i had stolen from them, as they didnt completely ransack my claim... but they could have spoken to me about it beforehand, instead of resorting to fucking my shit up.

hopefully i can just speak to one of them. do i have any other options? can i look up their village anywhere or something like that?

Hi, i am from the city. We got robbed And we had scents tracing to your base. I left scents from the crime outside your camp near the water so you can see it for yourself. I also got screenshots as proof it was your village. I Will post them later I am now writing from my mobile.I assume it was one of your friends. We can and have the proof it was someone from your camp. If you can proof you had no part in This crime I am willing to return all your missing items. I Will be online later this day. Pm me where You want to talk (Skype or Steam). Also a tip: claim your whole camp, half your base wasn't claimed.

The scent Came from a HF at below the timberhouse. And those scents of theft you saw trace back to your camp. Also we found all the stolen objects in the south timberhouse.

I think what happened to you can be quite easily explained. You have a neighbour with 5 tiles away from you, you share the pavement, farm, a fence etc. We presumed you belonged together. The scents came from the bottom base, in which our stolen items were retrieved(some large chests and I have no idea what else). If you do not belong to eachother, then I suggest you start living elsewhere then next to him since he stole many items from many people(Q130 seeds on a claim without any wall and Q1 crops? strange).

So yes, as ssantema said, we will refund everything if you do not belong to that base, no worries to you in that case!

EDIT: And, for the ones thinking we are the failing party on this side.. we are not. Those guys had scents everywhere around our base and when we came there, they had no wall and half their content wasn't claimed.

Wow, even with a palisade there's no way I'd leave theft scents for anything other than a few troll skulls.

well then... my complete appologies. i thought much better of my companions, and i see i am wrong. i am in the top left quarter of the area, and while i cannot exactly prove my innocence, my character hasnt the skills needed to steal, trespass, or anything else. i cannot prove i dont have an alt or something i suppose... but i only play one character. ill screenshot their skills...

and i guess i need to take another look at my neighbors.
