Alright, so i tracked his HF because he was offline...well, this guy is not the brightest..he has his HF right in front of his door to his timber house!

Log in with an alt, put all your valuables fromy your village in its inventory, log out. Then give the guy your key. That way he won't kill you and can't take your valuables. The worst that will happen is you have to make a new gate and replace your non-valuables. Honestly that is probably the best you can do in this situation.
