One of the two perpetrators is dead. The other is not, however, and his hearth fire is right in the middle of your village, confirming my suspicions that it's an attack from within rather than random outside raiders. I had a really, really good screenshot of this, complete with direction indicators from both sides pointing towards the HF, but somehow Ender's client failed to make a screenshot - I'm pretty sure I pressed the End key. Anyways, I left the scents in a crate near the HF and carved a runestone there to tell you about my findings, but right as I finished doing this, the perpetrator logged on, so I fleed back to SPHIA.
After finding myself screenshotless, I decided to send an alt to still get a screenshot:
The perpetrator is in front of the runestone, next to his hearth fire, though this runestone is a different one from the one I placed (it was in Japanese, so I couldn't read it properly). For some reason the perp placed the scents back into the crate (even though he was picking them up when I fleed), so I took the scents and stored them inside my house in case they're needed.
The upper three scents are from the dead perpetrator. The bottom two scents are from the perp that's still alive.
(I could've summoned the perpetrator at his hearth fire and killed him there, but I decided that it would be too risky for me to leave my murder scents right next to my home.)
