The Great Hearthling Migration

Postby UndeadNorseman » Mon Jul 30, 2012 4:10 am

I have just had an idea. I thought it would be awesome if a large group of Hearthlings would all move to a decided location and built a great village superpower. Now the best way this would work is if we got almost all of the Hearthlings to do this migration. That way we can have a huge variety of skills and resources to do this. If you disagree move on through the forums and if you do agree message so I know. Then we can all gather input and decide where and when this should happen. it will also be a democratic society so there won't be a dictator controlling it.

If you are looking to recruit, you might want to post in Dwarves and Thieves.

I'd suggest you build in the most North Eastern
supergrid of the world, it's rather mountainous,
but overall peacefull, there's a single hearthvault
there, but they wont give you trouble, try for
the North East corner area, you'll get a mildly safe
area.

Isn't that more or less where Mirror Lake is?

All right thanks for the input guys, so the location that we have gotten so far is north east mountains. Also I am not really recruiting just trying to see if anyone is interested in the idea of this happening.

To the OP: I've had the same idea over several worlds but it just won't work. Any people of even moderate skill already have a home/vault/town of their own and although I"m sure you could get 5 or 6 noobs to join up, it would at most be just another town and not some "super" city.

I suppose it would be vaguely possible at the start of a world if you had a good enough pitch but this World is in it's creaking old age and those of us still playing or doing it damned near out of momentum alone.
