I logged out today and when I got back i was half dead on the floor of my house, I have a palisade wall, the gate was shut and none of the walls were broken. How could someone have gotten inside to attack me?

I`ve got raided recently, raiders palibashed and then repaired broken palisade parts. You might have been similarily raided - ask someone to look up scents at your pali for you.

Show us a pic of your claim so we can figure it out. Also, how long were you offline on that character, and what scents have you been leaving, like theft or vandalism. You were probly summoned because you stole something and like most new players didn't realize the repercussions of theft, vandalism, battery, and murder.

Leeches don't affect your character if you're logged out. Someone must've somehow gotten through the gate, then shut it on the way out. That doesn't explain why they left you alive, though.
