Hermit looking to trade (Clay/Bricks/Tools)

Postby Ogrim » Tue Jan 31, 2012 7:55 pm

Hey all. I'm looking for Moderate Quality (70+) clay, enough to make a decent Kiln and bake up some HQ bricks. My ultimate goal is to get a decent oven to make HQ foods. If you can provide the Clay then I'll need a quantity of 100. If you can provide the bricks, then I'll only need about 50.

I'm also looking for a high quality stone axe.

I can pay with the following:
Foraged curios (I've got a pearl and a bunch of flotsams in addition to a stock of boletes and other things.)
Wall grade wrought and steel
Freshly killed bears

Just about anything else you could want (q<30) as I'm a self sufficient hermit. (The only things I'm not actively running are sheep, beer, silk, and jewelry.) I'd prefer to help you get supplies you need rather than dig into my stock of curios, but at this point I need access to the higher quality items.

I've got an alt I could port to a town with. Just PM me with your offers.

Please PM me your location if you want.

The best clay I've come across so far is Q25. Not bad for a new player but not sufficient to make decent kiln/ovens.

You all know what quantities and qualities I'm looking for. Let me know how much of what you need to make this deal.

As for my location, I'm just South West of the center of the world. About a Stone's throw from the village of Valhalla.

Do you have any nice foraged *curios*, like pearls or flotsam? If so, I can probably make a delivery. I don't really want to do it for the stuff you mentioned in your post, sorry.

I should have answered this right from the beginning. The few foraged curios I've come across, I use. Though I can easily hand off enough forged curios to give you 3-5k LP over 24 hours, I understand that these are not in wide demand. If I was sitting on a heap of pearls, I would have just PM'd one of the merchants that post here. I'm also not looking for the HQ items that these merchants peddle, what I'm asking for is way below the quality I see in the established market.

Add to it that I'm not 'porting' Alts around the map and intend to take a long walk to get the trade done and you'll understand why I posted. Though it is likely the way trade was originally intended by the devs, what I am proposing is considered non-standard by what I've read on these forums. I'm still fairly fresh (only a little over a month in game) so what I'm looking for would likely be the 'cast off' from most of you established players.

Or getting enough agi to where you could idol port with no problems, like destroying your HF. Although, im not gonna say no if youll give me 100 perch for 50 bricks and 50 clay.
