Back in my days the game was intact enough you didn't have to aggro people when you were trading with them. Well, sitting back and waiting for the day when the door closes behind the aggroed people and they all die. Seeing as the first ones are already getting nervous to hold still and start beating up people in the "safezone" it can't be too long.

back in your days eh,
how is dis gonna prevent thiefs from stealing shit (dhelms, pearls and stuff) from the barters, one click to hearthfire away to a vault.
Better to stay safe than regret it

Seems even Dis agrees with me. You are all up their ass now too I see...a shame.

I didn't understand anything you said currently.

Aracos fought like Marine, but after some time only me answered in party chat, so most of us was killed, it was stupid to stay here. I planning to escape too, but got chased by 5+ dhelmers :|

I went to the trade zone yesterday, I wasn't aggroed, bothered or in any way molested. i was kinned, let in and free to do my shopping. I think old Birg is choking on sour grapes here, aside from being a Mod here at the forums, he is no longer a "mover and shaker" in Haven and more than likely never will be again.

A new dawn has come to Haven and it's getting interesting again, if for nothing else, we now have a Radio Station where players can meet each other outside the game in a non-confrontational setting while listening to some killer music, the Trade Center that impressed the hell out of me "despite" my dust up the day before with Goo and Valten and just an all around effort by the PLAYERS to make the game fun again in the absence of updates by Jorb and Loftar.

They gave us the tools quite a while ago and people are really starting to realize that WE make this game fun or not, not Jorb and Loftar. I see this community maturing quite rapidly actually. Birg and his posse will of course piss all over this post but those of us working to make this a fun world to be in can just prove him wrong by enjoying ourselves.... (Inb4 Birg makes a shallow post about me being a raider and that ruining the game.....)

How would one go about trading items that are larger then just a barter stand here? One of the things I love making is Large Chests, and filling them with goodies.

Verbal agreement? Just handing the goods over?

Always a possibility. Depending on how long they're keeping the gates open. I wouldn't mind guarding a Wagon full of LC's and Logs, etc, etc, for an hour, but 4 hours would be pushing it.

I think part of the reason of giving everyone public CRs there is the ability for two players to exchange their own goods at the exterior. :)
