That seems reasonable?

Prices should be kept at same level for everyone.

Actually i do think gold is a bit overvalued... ;)

not that much though.

But there are certain things to balance. your labour + raw resources VS. profit. ofc you could drop prices lower than anyone, but that would probably decrease your profit/hour working ;). i dunno man, its kindof basic economics. At the moment you have as many trades as you like, if you dropped prices i guess you could have more, but then you would have less time for other stuff.

Well, I'm not sure we are speaking of same thing, tho its just a game ofc. But in trading business there is a thing called (literaly translated from my language) "unloyality of competitors" where there are some prices most of trades respect and someone who is just well, an ass or "different" tries to do soma bad tricks to cut everyone off by lowering prices. Ofc since others want to keep up they drop prices too and there we have market collapse with everything cheaper than loaf of bread :)

This is just my point of view with which most of traders with best q agreed so far, thats why until some people came into the A&O prices were kept at same level ;)

Ofc since others want to keep up they drop prices too and there we have market collapse with everything cheaper than loaf of bread :)

this can only happen really if the stuff you are selling is as cheap as a loaf of bread to produce, or if some bigger company is trying to squeeze you out of your market. neither of which are a threat here, i believe. i don't think people would trade at absurdly low prices as then it becomes better to just forage rather than do industry and set up as a trader.

Its not great to have no competition and price fixing agreements between different traders.

oh yeah, wikipedia :p

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-competitive_practices

"dumping" is bad, but IMO its not clear that this is happening here. so is "price fixing" though.

anyway this is not really on topic, so last post about this in this thread from me. also i'm right, you're all wrong.

edit: its understandable that winterfell will compete with you, if it turns out their prices are too low to maintain they will have to increase them to keep profitable. if they are not profitable right now, you should be glad ;), they wont have pearls to train their warrior chars as much as you ;)

Everyone is right in their eyes, nothing wrong with that. I just said that if you keep same prices, you can still sell for cheaper to your regular customers and will have 1/2 less work with selling for cheaper, since I don't think as Aracos said that he has same qualities, he just sells same qualities. If me or bell would sell stuff we got probably all others wouldn't be able to follow, but we give everyone their chance since we just enjoy trading ;)

And ofc, we give our regular customers the q which no one will probably achieve anytime soon (mostly due to best kiln + trees + ores) :)

lets see if its ramones side's cartel going on or aracos' side playing a chicken. time will tell.

btw,
"we are giving others chances to sell their products, we are so nice"
very familiar idea there ;) it just shows something to me again.

Actually ramones trading policy goes worse than just fix pricing, he tries to take off his competitors with violence :D, like ainran guys showing up at old village we just use as storage saying they tracked cornbread items to there ( good thing it has 3 brickwall layers).
