ok so here's something to think about for anyone who owns a clay spot on a river:

it takes 100,200 LP for a new character to get vandalism. once that's done, all that's needed is the shittiest of shitty hearthvaults (if one even bothers with that - clay can't really be tracked). in fact, this is what i'm planning on doing sometime in the near future. however, i thought it might be interesting to put this on the market and see what happens: the curios i would use to put together a vandalism alt.

see, i've scoped some decent clay on a river, my plan is to build a log cabin with a claim and palisade somewhere way off from all my real shit, and then blow up the spot. either the clay alt gets killed or not, either way, i get some clay, and if someone breaks in and kills me they get literally nothing - just some wasted time tracking and having left scents for no actual gain.

so, if you own a clay spot, here is a way you can get a bit of profit from a day or 2 of digging, as opposed to my using these curios to go out and steal clay. it doesn't really make a whole lot of difference to me either way, but if anyone is interested, i'll be offering this stuff in exchange for 45 units of decent clay.

i don't think you gentlemen are understanding what is happening here.

i am going to use these three fucking curios to make a vandalism alt, and tear up a claimed clay spot of decent quality. the character will be tracked to some shitty hearth vault a supergrid or more away. however, i don't particularly give a fuck whether this character lives or dies - at the same time this character is being summoned, i will be a supergrid or more away in an opposite direction, making pies in my brand new ovens to feed to real characters.

i am simply trying to cut out a couple steps in this whole process and give someone the opportunity to use these curios instead of me using them on a character that will probably die. like i said before, it doesn't really make a difference to me. either way, i will end up getting what i want

just so a motherfucker has to pick up the scent, track me somewhere, break it down and summon me. or if everyone is too lazy to summon me, i'll steal more clay and other resources...over and over ..until someone takes the time to kill the alt. i'll start stealing other shit too. why not? worst case scenario, all i have to do is get another shewbread, glimmermoss and chicken bone and idle him back to full change lol

I usually just leave the HF of the vandalism alt right next to the node since I'm lazy as fuck. No one is going to bother tracking vandalism scents so your building a palisade 3 SGs away is really only causing you more work.

Also lol if you don't already have an account with 30+ vandalism alts leveled and ready to go.
