Why not sell it?

Here's the offer: Give me access to your node and in exchange I will set a large stockpile of the resource for you to use as well as a weekly replenishment to that stockpile. Additionally, I will not personally trade in this raw resource, maintaining your niche in the marketplace.

I benefit by getting access to a high q node for my own uses (something hermits don't often have) and you benefit from never having to spend energy to trade this precious resource.

As a hermit I have access to q30 water, q40 soil, q34clay and q25 fish. I also have mines with q18 iron and q23 copper.

Water would be ideal as it could be easily worked but I'd consider just about any node if it's high q.

Most people wont sell their nodes. They will just keep leeching it for points. So your probably just going to have to buy decent q water.

If you read the OP you'll see the benefit. People will still leech the 'sold node' for points, except now they will spend 0 time doing so. They'll just port to the node and grab full barrels waiting for them. In exchange for the labor, a hermit will also benefit from the node. Maybe even begin to trade other items you need but don't want to waste time making.

Maybe another working title would be 'adopt a trustworthy hermit'...

I know of some high qual soil and clay nodes... what you are saying is that if I give you coords you would harvest them for me?
