Hello everyone, like the newbs we are, me and my friend can't build a decent village claim yet and got to trade the old way, taking the goods to the gate of your village manually with the only help of our cool boat, so we can only acept trades from people near -18, 62!

Selling:
Leather low q.
Chantrelles, blueberries, any low q. forageable you need.
Wine low q.
Linen low q.
Bone glue low q.

In fact you can ask for any product you may need from people with free time to spare grinding.

Buying:
A decent treeplanter's pot
A decent Sling
Traveller's Sack
Curiosities
Personal self-defense classes

I'll give you a quick one, never ever post the cordinates to your base on the forum, ever. Unless you have a death wish. (If that is not the location of your base, I hope its a bit away from it at least)

And since Iam already at it; be careful when you trade with strangers. Items you trade might be scented, leading anyone who has the scent directly to your base. Can be countered with 1: leaving items in a characters inventory, and keeping the character logged off a bit away from your base for a few days. 2: if you use the items to craft/build something the scent will no longer lead to it. (Very unlikely, but do it if you are uncertain of how truthworthy the trader is, or super paranoid like me. Which I dont think you are seeing as I wouldnt even leave cordinates on the forum that was even in the same supergrid as my home :D)

tl;dr good luck :P

It's better to just get a village idol, or get an alt with rage and another with theift and use the other method of trading

I.e. leaving scents with the trade alt after you break it's hearthfire, and then summoning him back when he is offline?

There are like 10 hermits living around me, if someone wants to kills for fun he has plenty of people to try it. Also I don't feel like regional trade is a bad option, y ou get t o know neighbours and socialize with nearby people instead of live fearing and doing complex things to trade, I don't think the game was planned to work like it actually does on the begining.
