Looking for serious / professional players

Postby Complications » Tue Feb 28, 2012 3:10 am

I'm looking to join up with a group of serious players - I'm interested in PvP, theory crafting, min maxing ect. Recently picked up this game coming after hearing the similarities to Ultima Online, and I couldn't let this pass me by. A friend and I are in possession of 2 large villages, with mines, cattle, gold ect. but I have quickly realized that I will not go much further than my current state unless I join up with a larger group. I have been a long time lurker of these forums, so I know some community members can be a bit younger, I ask that you at least be serious / professional gamers. More information on my past history in this game, or any other game in the past 13 years can be given upon request. I am 22 years old, Canadian and in the Eastern Time zone.

I have Vent, Mumble, Skype, Teamspeak - or whatever else is needed. Looking to take this game seriously - especially for PvP, but I am also willing to have alts for anything that is needed (mining, farming, gathering ect.). I have a very high play time, and am online 7 days a week.

Don't waste my time and I won't waste yours :)

Thanks.

If you have 2 villages with mines, gold and cows. why are you leaving it behind?

Like I said, at this point without joining a more experienced and talented group of players - it is going to be difficult to progress. There comes a point where the resources you have access to are trumped by having a solid core group of players.

why dont you post some of your NON-combat stats. the higher they are they more likely you'll get into an experienced town.

also what are you gonna do with them two villages?

Currently my main has roughly 25 in all attributes, I haven't spent much investment into them as I am waiting to determine what role I will focus on (Range, Melee ect.). Also I have kept my attributes on par to maximize FEP gain for the time being. As for skills I have 50 Exploration, 60 Marks, 20 Unarmed, 60 Survival. The rest of my LP been dumped into my claim for safe keeping until I determine where I am going / what I am doing. My alts currently have roughly 60 Str / 70 farming / 50 cooking for their respective alt roles.

Most of my time has been spent cooking for further base attribute maxing when I determine what I am going to invest my main into, as well as LP collection into my claim for the same purpose.

"I ask that you at least be serious / professional gamers."
"...roughly 25 in all attributes..."
"As for skills I have 50 Exploration, 60 Marks, 20 Unarmed, 60 Survival."

I am pretty casual with my alts having 80x80 PerxExp and 50 UA. These are alts.
I hope you have atleast One million LP into that bank of yours to consider yourself a Serious Professional gamer.

"Don't waste my time and I won't waste yours"
You have not made any attempt in showing that you wont waste your new lawspeaker/villagers time.

You said you are a no-lifer and that is a godly attribute to this game but what makes anyone think you wont just get what ya want then load up on village items and leave when you get bored? (plenty of ass hats do this)
You created an alt to post this topic "Joined:Mon Feb 20, 2012 12:59 am". You have absolutely no reputation to back yourself up with.

You made a good attempt at polishing a turd.
Its still a Turd though.

How about we start off by not taking my words out of context? I mentioned that I have purposefully not progressed my character as I have not made up my mind as to which areas I wish to focus on. I'm glad that your alts have such great stats, I have only been playing for under a week - but I take my time investment / hobby seriously. I have made no claim at having amazing stats or skills on my main, merely I am looking to join a group of talented players where I may learn and hopefully become a valuable asset. For players that have been playing since the beginning of world 6, I would assume one million LP to be peanuts, so if that's what you call a "serious professional gamer" I think you should rethink your outlook.

I would not expect any smart or talented group to embrace me with open arms, as that would be foolish. I would expect them to at least get to know me and for me to earn their trust. Not only do I have no reputation but I also acknowledge I am a new player - and I would have never expected to join a village right away. Lastly I never did say I do not have a life, only that I have high play times.

"A friend and I are in possession of 2 large villages, with mines, cattle, gold ect"
Bullshit. So you do not possess two large villages with mines cattle and "gold"
You are a newbie there is no way in hell that you possess those kind of resources. I know you will try and defend yourself about this but it has been made apparent it is an obvious lie.

Then play the game for a few weeks so you are not a NOOB before looking for a successful village with serious players.

I hope another villager opens you with welcome arms and realizes how much of a noob you are then kills you for wasting their time.
