Looking to join a nice village.

Postby Kollin » Sun Aug 12, 2012 3:41 pm

I have played this game since around the end of world 4, and am coming back after taking a break from it. I am willing to do whatever job is needed for the village. PM me if interested in having a new villager. My time zone is U.S. Eastern. I like farming, cooking, hunting, and generally just crafting things. Those are my preferred jobs. However, I won't complain about doing other jobs. The only real dislike I have about this game is the curio system, though I suppose those make for great objects to trade.

If you need more info, either PM me asking or post your question here stating what exactly it is you want to know.

More information about you and your gaming experience etc would be useful

I think his response says it all.

it's this issue of people mistaking convenience for laziness or "casual" gameplay, . . . there is no reason why not to have sacks . . .

Hell, why not my SSN as well?

But seriously, like what type of other info would someone need?

It may sound like I was coming off like a smart ass, possibly because I was. That is generally how I respond to vague replies. My initial post should have sufficient info. Time zone, how long I have played for (since end of world 4), what jobs I will do (any). Any other info seems fairly irrelevant, which is why I asked, in a slightly sarcastic way, what other info would be good to put down.

Well no, not really. A lot of people that are looking for village members have roles in mind for people when they start looking. Past experiences in the game that you'd be willing to do again or new interests that have piqued your curiosity are something are good things to share. More often than not the 'Jack of all trades' turns out to be someone that just doesn't progress enough to keep up.

Well, mainly all I have done is farming and hunting. Though, since the game is currently super laggy IDK about doing hunting. I'm not really a "Jack of all trades", I stick to whatever designated role I am given. What I mean by "I can do any job" is that I am willing to take on whatever role you give me, usually filling in what you lack. Don't have enough farmers? I will take on that role. Don't have enough miners? I will take on that. I'm not really picky about what job I am doing, just put me in whatever position your village needs.

no offense, but theres a ton of villages with recruitment threads, where the general questions most villages who are recruiting ask, and yes age, gender, past exeriences, villages uve been in and the such are important. And there's also threads which tell you how to make a good recruitment thread if ure looking for a town.

the whole vague 'i'll do anything', is so over done and in gneral people like specific jobs and dislike others. I've had people say the same thing, and when i direct them to a job i need filling it turns out theyd rather do something else or get bored quickly of it. so it doesnt work.

So no, no one require your personal life story or personal real life details, dont worry.

eitherway, good luck
