Lol, I dont post often but this is the greatest statement I have ever seen. Tell that to my single parent mom who use to kick my ass when I was young... Sure do wish pops was around to encourage her (he was the man that made her violent by not being around because she was violent), that way I wouldve broke two or three fingers when she pushed me down and not just the one.

Violence is human nature, no matter how nurturing you think you are. Anyways very good luck to you ladies, as far as building a spot away from any faction.. you let me know if you find that spot as from what I can tell there is a major faction owning almost every supergrid, if not all of them. I see this going three ways...

You succeed, and life is good for you. (Personally this is what I hope. As it would be cool to see a group of females not get nerdraged or molested by the group internet tough guys that soak these forums)

You get raided constantly by the ones mentioned above, as it will be hard for some of these dbags to resist doing it, so that they can run straight to the forums and post screenshots of it, and imagine how big their epeen is to compensate.

This third one is the most likely which happens in most MMO's, there will be a TON of internet hero's that will build the village, give you everything you need, protect you from douchlings, and do all the work for you, just so they can hear a female voice hopefully in their wheezy skype chat.

This would be an excellent idea in a New World. Wish you all the luck and hope you ladies dont get harassed to much.

P.S. Im calling my mom I havnt spoken to in five years to tell her, "my bad, I thought you were being violent, but since I didnt have a dad, you were just helping me be a man". I am newish to the game and its my first time posting, but I am looking to start an amazon village, away from the war and politics that the game dominating patriarchy has established for the status quo. we will start out small, but hopefully gain strength to show the oppressed female masses there is hope to escape the violence men have brought. It conjures up an image of feeble little women trapped behind pallisades being used and abused by the male gamers, it is a game, lol, if you don't like the pvp aspect of it then turn it off and play something else.
In my experience thus far the women do very nicely thank you and do not need to be 'freed' - either become a warrior yourself, as Em says, lots do or run a peaceful village and hope for the best, lol. But don't label us all as oppressed as its simply not true.
I play a peaceful hermit at the moment but in w7 i'm thinking of becoming the Uma (kill bill) of the hearthlands, lol, it will be the male gamers that will need help

id consider myself a feminist, but probably not the brand of feminist you are. i'm free and i have my own town and we do well, with having women and men working together, and we're peaceful while we do it. i do need to remind them often when they get ragey over something, but they actually listen, and thats the guys and girls who get ragey not jsut the guys:D

I really dont think anyone cares about getting killed by a girl. A ton of people already have and I doubt anyone ever thought UHG GIRL KILLED ME ITS OVER.

you are only hurting yourself attempting to run a amazon tribe. You should prolly tone down the man hating until you can actually do something. They way its looking you are going to get griefed hard.

In my point of view, people should be threatened according to their personality rather than gender. Usually, people do so if you do not make accent on your gender and try to benefit from it.
Like "Do not kill me, I'm a girl!" or try to get some stuff using your gender. So you shouldn't be surprized seeing something like 'Tits or GTFO' when you do this.
So I see it's stupid to say that the amazon village is formed to protect females. I'd rathger love more aggressive attitude, like females will rule the world. =D
