Besides that, if word spreads on you killing your recruits for wanting to leave you might never get any more villagers, as hard as it is now to get villagers imagine if they know this idea of killing them.

Well ... maybe I am such a noob that do not understand the ways on H&H and have been so lucky that found a village where people is treated with respect even being noobs and even wanting to leave, and also people that left in a good way is taken back with no issues.


Agreed in some ways. Noobs should be able to leave if they want to. If the noob is a problem though, that's something else.

Find the location on your own and make sure it has some metal nodes (preferably iron) and a water/soil node would'nt hurt but it might be hard if you dont know where to start looking.
