Actually now is a great time for new players. The power players are all focused on their personal wars. And the extreme power players only leave their walls if they have an enemy cornered and outnumbered, leaving no time to hunt for a little nablet. There are also plenty of ruins to kickstart your gear and quality if you know where to look.

That being said a month playing without a palisade means you must go pretty slow, and most villages will want more than half an hour a day of playing

Ive been playing for a week now, learning the game mostly. Whens World 7 suppose to start up? And where is everyone? I havent seen or heard (Ender's global chat) anyone. I was thinking the game was Dead.

There is no confirmed W7 we (Those roughly 200 of us that remain playing) merely speculate that haven will be resumed once JLo is satisfied with Salem. Most people say sometime in 2013, but there is no guarantee.
