Experience: Been playing for about 5 months now but I've successfully lived as a hermit on multiple occasions as well as lived in villages such as Norrath, Cult45, Rukia, Noahh's village etc. Currently have an alt with most combat skills I'd use for hunting and a cooking alt with 38 per I grinded up, I'm also able to kill any animal with low skills and will do so often

Correction, your last village's leaders were killed by old villagers who came and stole everything.

Hello I would like to join your village after 3 weeks of hermitting in W6. I first struck out in world 6 with Zamp for a few days. He is a great guy and a great leader but he has little time with school and I don't think Haven and Hearth satisfies that "itch" for him like it once did. He choose a spot by the river so we were an easy target for the IRS. He stopped playing and I moved permanently to a spot in the NW part of the world with a lot of above average resources nearby.

I palisaded imediately but the men in this neck of the woods do not just collect your extra curios and fish, they believe in destruction of newb settlements in a rain of fire. The good thing about living near DIS and Ainran is the supergrids are really quiet most of the time. This is great for gathering curios. Fishing and hunting leave alts to stationary and some of our fisherman havn't made it back.

So I decide to scout for a new safer place to live with my orginal charater Cobi. He has no stats and the slider moved only once. I gave up on him early because I thought the location was poor. I went back to him now because he was my only hearthling on mutlple accounts with my favorite name of Cobi. After running around looking at the sights for 5 minutes and trying to remember anything I can about the area I spot another newb. We immediately due the noob dance and take off in opposite directions. After seeing this I realize he is friendly and say, "hello". He sees this and says "hi". It turns out his name is FecalSlash, he is new, and would not mind hanging out with me to learn more about H&H. I recognize the name Fecal from D&T and he seemed normal from his post.

After scouting the area and seeing lots of busted in palisades I tell him I think we should build a boat and head to the SW part of the world. I looked over the world map on the wiki and it seems to be a less populated area. After a 6 hour journey we make it to the SW and find lots of small one man palisaded areas and a few hearth vaults well off the river. I thought the area was secluded. It turns out I moved us to Oddi country. Fuck me again.

We spend 6 hours setting up a base camp and scouting the area. We make a house and he places a claim. I show him how to make sure I have access to the plot and I ensure it is working before I log for the night. I wake up to find the server down so this forces me to do real life stuff. Come back from mailing my exwife some paperwork and log in to find I no longer have access to the claim and I can't get my stuff in the cupboards. Sometimes I hate how art imitates life. At least the exwife let my keep my computer desk and computer. He took even took the boat I built. (He may have a good reason behind making me sleep outside, like an alt now has the claim, but we both know we can't stay here. Also it makes it a better read.)

The reason for the long winded application is to learn a little more about me outside of your questions and to tell Zamp and Fecal where I went. I think Fecal is a good person and maybe you should give him a shot in your town also if Fecal wants that too. I think throwing me out on the porch was an accident due to lack of knowledge. Not because he wanted all my dandies!


Please state:
1. if you've been in any other villages: Climax W5. Great group of people. All of them I would give my linen pants to. They just slowly stopped playing. I do miss them.
2. which ones they were
3. how long you've been playing this game: Almost a year. Maybe more but my memory is bad.
4. specific jobs of interest: Forage/Hunt. I like to punch deer but I have not chanced it yet this world with my poor choices of supergrids. I have the stats to do both well though. I like to to try farming more this world and I have a good farm alt.
5. location: California. Which is a great time zone to be in to forage and hunt.
6. age: 35. Yes I am an old man, but look 25.
7. how long you can play daily: 4-5 hours. I am done chasing Monterey women. More time for H&H again. I will still hunt the occasional tourist girl or city girl (SF).
