+ on tonyhonk

when looking for a town, how awesome a player you think you are isnt really the way to go when uve only been playing a week.

but there was no need for anyone to completely belittle everything you've posted, but i do think theres an issue with you knowing perhaps what gold atually looks like since what is in your pic isnt gold. and having a palisade settlement doesnt mean you have a village, unless theres an idol.

anyway good luck

you all over-estimated op and blame him on how well he presented himself?
or are you blaming him for the potential time you might have wasted?
we all should keep in mind that new players often exaggerate things because they are new
and most of us sure love dramatic threads in any sections of the forums. he did succeed in making one however it sounded to others.
to op,
good writing, but you may wanna try to sound a bit more humble sometimes unless you are asking to join a *certain* group, which i am pretty sure you actually aimed to do.

Like I said, everyone loves to dish it but doesn't want to take it. God forbid their egos get burst by someone who has no credibility and is a new player. I don't have anything to prove to anyone, I only want to find a group to play with where I can offer my skills and hopefully learn from them. If this is how the community judges new players then there's nothing one can do about it - all I can say is that it's not healthy for the community or for the future of the game.

I have never said how awesome of a player I think I am. Have I tried to sell myself as a successful opportunity? sure! But that's the point of these forums. I'm not going to come here and say that I'm a terrible player, not worth an investment, and not to play with me. Anyone with half a brain is going to up sell.

Might be a good idea if you ask a mod to lock this thread, so you could meditate then rectify the imperfections and then generate another request.

he will believe himself a great meditator after doing it for 3 mins, write down a brag about how good he is and how hes looking for a group of pro meditators and when they question his statements he will spend his time denying he ever said that.

and we will be right back here.
