Looking for an apprenticeship/mentor to learn the ropes

Hey guys, relatively new to the game and having one hell of a time getting anywhere in this game alone. Constantly have to check the wiki for info on what to do and how to do it. Would love to join a village or some folks and learn the basics of the game and just help me get on my feet a little. I play on and off but usually at least every day I check in and what not.
