Total Amateur looking for mentor and a home

I'll just go ahead and start running my mouth.

I am 24 years old, and I am in the EST timezone. Although my sleep cycle is absolutely and completely unreliable.
I speak fluent English, and can name various 'adult interests' in Japanese, but am otherwise monolingual.

I have had TWO WEEKS of experience under a slightly more skilled player building our own little settlement in some random plot of land in the last world.
This individual disappeared for two days straight with me locked inside of a palisade of which I had completed construction of not a day earlier, and I was kind of depressed with the year old ruins littering the nuked land and antique claims on any desirable locations.

I don't particularly find the idea of combat in THIS game appealing, but am still very inexperienced. I could potentially plop myself down and tend to at home matters, but I really want to see the variety available.

I do not wish to hermit, I wish to participate in jolly cooperation. But if I am going to work a full time job, its going to involve a paycheck issuing united states currency, not various cheeses.
That is to say, I'm not looking for an oppressive egomaniac. There are enough of those in the MMORPG guilds I've been part of.

So who wants a clueless semi-motivated village member or partner?

You are probably going to warn to pick up combat whether you like it or not. Haven and Hearth is a pretty hostile world and you will need it to survive, or try to.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.
