Roleplayers?

Hi again everyone,

Been playing with some good folks lately, but I am wondering... is there any roleplayers in this game?

I mean, the game is fun, but adding roleplay to it would prevent me from getting bored too quickly.

I am open to any story/background, may it be a clan of vampires, an empire, an army, a band of nomads... anything that would allow me to get into a character.

Nope, it has to be make believe or it doesnt count.

i'm currently roleplaying a young man who's wife ran off with a raider who burn my house down. so i have walked away into the forest lost in my grief, i have finally come to terms with everything and am building a new home and farm, with thoughts of building a community eventually

Dude, I read this thread and then had to come back to it a couple of times before I could even find the words to respond to this, and yet I still have no idea. If you need to make up a story to a made up story then there is something wrong with you. Like, really. If you're bored of content how does imagining you're a mystical fairy that shits marshmellows make your palisade any more secure? The game is going to continue on at a normal, sane, pace while the roleplayers get trampled on. Mostly for the lulz... Okay, only for the lulz.

That being said, there was one group of roleplayers around a couple of months ago though I doubt they're still active. Last I heard they were all killed off and disbanded for teh lulz.

H&H is pretty slice-of-life so normally I would say that the mundane activities and social aspect of this game makes roleplaying superfluous

but that's going off of worlds w1-5 and it seems like w6 is usually depicted as a wartorn hellscape
