Coming back to HnH, searching for a Group/Village

So, my Brother restarded playing HnH not too long ago. After watching him a few times it started itching me to play it again as well.

I played HnH allready for a good bit, almost half a Year back. I was "Teached" By a Guy named Lawton and joined another Guy named Grog later, whereafter i joined his Village (If i remember correctly it was the Bottleneck-Guys). Dunno if any of those are still playing, or even remember me

Anyway. I would like to join a Village/Group. In terms of Experience im familiar with the Game Mechanics and know enough for hermiting (Which i did for a good part of my Game-Time). I have almost no PVP-Experience, mainly because im more of a peaceful Player (that doesnt mean that i dont enjoy a good brawl here and there if provoked).

A few Infos to me:

Im from Switzerland.
21 Years old.
I really Enjoy using Voiceprograms while playing, be it SKype, Mumble or Teamspeak.

It is. But i guess this isnt the Section for it (Dunno which section it would fit in, really.) and also i didnt want to bore ppl with it

Well, why not?

So before my Time with Lawton i started the usual "Lets check the Game out" Newbie-Character. After the usual Discoverys i checked the FOrum out and searched for somebody to play with. The first to respond was Lawton, a Hermit that offered to teach me the Basics, help with Equipment and Curiositys etc.

The time i spent with him was great, i made the usual Noob-mistakes and ended up dead 2 Times, the first time i got Stomped to nothing by a Boar and the second time was... a bear i believe.

Anyway, after quite a while with Law, where i learn't almost everything needed about the Game, we got robbed. It was back in World 5, we had claimed a Cave and found both Iron and Copper. Pretty much everything was gone, the stuff they couldnt take was dropped on the Ground. The sad part was we were about to put up the Palisade, the Raiders were nice enough to Seal the Cornerpost after raiding us completely tough

We both decided to join a Village. he had some friends he could hook up with and i had met Grog shortly beforehand. So we added eachother in Steam to stay in Contact and then parted ways.

The Time with Grog was great too, before letting me enter the Village he wanted to know and trust me first. So he let me live just outside his own Camp, helped me with Basic stuff like Curiosities and Equipment. After i got the hang of things (I had started a new Char to join him, the old one wasnt far anyway) we started to put up a Trade. SInce he was Miner he needed tons of food, which i provided. As Compensation he gave me Metals and Curios i hadnt Accses too.

I dont remember how long i was with him before actually joining the Village, if i had to guess i'd say it was about a Month. Villagelife didnt change much for me, i went out hunting'n'Foragin for them and in Exchange had accses to Curios, highquality Tools etc. After a while i decided to set up a Camp of my own, i got Lucky, found a Cave, good Soil and Water nearby. (It was claimed tough, nothing a Villageclaim couldnt fix) A while after the Camp was done there was some Drama between a good friend of mine and someone i played with. I Wont go into Detail about that, since i dont know how they think about it. After my Friend quit and i had some Stress irl i quit playing HnH. I simply forgot about it after a while, well until my Bro brought it up a few Weeks ago

And that's pretty much it. Nothing to special xD

I'm afraid not. From what I understand he stopped playing shortly after the beginning of world 6.

Grog is someone to miss for sure! He was the first to give me a welcome Pm and some helpfull hints...
