Fresh out of the box HnH Newbie

Postby yuri » Sun Apr 22, 2012 10:53 am

Hi there ladies and gents...

Im a new player To HnH (played a couple of days)
Liking it so far despite the horrifying lagg, (has it always been there??)

-Looking for people to hang with. -Vets or newbies does not matter as learning the ins and outs of the game comes gradually anyway.
had a person that started playing with me but is more focused in another game and is more eagerly awaiting Salem.

-Preferably people close to the same time-zone (CEST)
Then again I work shifts too so its not enforced.
-That like to build/expand rather than raiding/pillage.
-If a dispute rises on a topic regarding anything HnH, democratic dialogue solves the issue and no grudges is left untouched.

-I would like to add that those I would hang with should use VoIP preferably Mumble. (Can create a Server if that's needed (100mbit/s up/down)
-Start a new settlement or join one.

PM me if it sounds like something up your alley.

Be careful out there!

Don't swim with low constitution, you'll die.

Get a stake claim and a wall to deter thieves.

Living on a river is like living on a busy street - easier transportation but higher crime rates.

Thanks for the heads up Phaen.
I have done some research before jumping into the game and did build my first things more inland.
and swiming, well I went for boat building instead. Sure I have to carry it after I used it for the day but its way worth it as far as I can tell.
Continues to research also. Since the game seem so far, complex.

I hope you enjoy your stay and prolong it as long as possible. In general, the community here welcomes new players but we tend to shift to the no-no side when they start complaining about dying. As long as you remember the Golden Rule, "Losing is Fun!", I'm sure you'll find this game to be enjoyable to spend time on in your free hours.

If you have any questions throughout your experience feel free to shoot me a PM or ask in the How Do I? section of the forums. There is also a great Wiki run by the community. Please read the stickies, and once again, enjoy the game. =D
